synop: you and vik get caught âmessing aroundâ in the lab by jayce; who surprisingly wants to join in on the fun.
wc: 1.8k
includes: straight smut, p w/o p, fem!reader, jayce x reader x viktor, slight vöyeurism, oral (m receiving), slight dirty talk, threesome, bottom!viktor
extra: part 2 coming soon!! reblogs are appreciated <3
âdonât worry,â you whisper, fingers twirling along a red tie before smoothing down the front of viktorâs vest. âi sent jayce out on an errand run and he wonât be back for a little bit. just enjoy this v.â you add with a hum.
viktor looks up through his pretty lashes at you. he leans back against his desk, practically sits on top of it to keep weight off of his leg, as you two stand inside of the lab. he had been working far too hard recently and the only way you could keep him distracted long enough not to think about anything involving his work was to pleasure him. it was the same way trying to get him to sleep every once and awhile, when he would sneak into your room. you had never suggested doing it in the lab thoughâŠand the thought thrilled you just as much as it thrilled him; even if he thought it was a terrible idea.
âw-we shouldnât. not here in the lab and what ifââ viktor mumbles but his words end in a soft gasp as your fingers begin to untuck his shirt from his pants.
âviktor,â you chirp as you fall to your knees in front of him, unbuttoning the front of his pants and pulling them down ever so slightly. âyou need to take a break. be a good boy and just relax.â
your fingers are just grabbing the hem of his underwear when the door to the lab is being thrown open and jayceâs large figure enters the room. âhey, i was looking for this thing you asked for but iââ jayce had begun to speak, his eyes pointed down as he entered the room, before he finally looked up and caught the two of his friends in the act.
you freeze in your spot, eyes widening as you stare at jayce from the floor. a scarlet red blush is spreading across your face, you can feel the heat on your cheeks in an instant and youâre sure you match not only jayceâs shocked face but viktorâs as well; and you canât even bring yourself to look up at him. you probably stay like that for a little longer than you shouldâve until jayce clears his throat and you and viktor alike scramble from each other.
âwe!â you start as you stand up straight and as quick as you possibly can. âwait itâs not what it looks like! we were uh just uhmââ you ramble before looking at viktor to help dig both of you out of this hole. but heâs busied himself with trying to zip his pants back up, making it far more obvious if it hadnât been already. you sigh, turning your face off to the side to stare at a small spot on the floor, unable to look jayce in the eye.
âdoâŠyou do this often?â jayceâs voice cuts through the built up silence in the room like a knife.
you shake your head quickly but viktor speaks up for you instead. ânever in the lab.â he mutters.
âitâs unprofessional, we get it, letâs just drop it and forget thisââ you begin to add but the sound of the door closing with a lock interrupts your rambling. when you finally bring your gaze to jayce, his eyes are soft but clear in their intentions. and it was his turn to no longer be able to look at the two of you.
âcan iâŠwatch?â he whispers under his breath.
and with three little words, everything changes between all three of you.
now, jayce leans against the labâs desk as viktor leans back against his chest. jayâs strong hands fully support viktor as youâve returned to your spot in front of him. you had never in your life thought jayce might have been interested in whatever you and viktor had going on. maybe you just assumed he already had a lover and never brought it up again. but now his hazel eyes stare down at you, just as viktorâs amber eyes also watch you, both with a hunger to their eye. it almost made you nervous, being watched, but your fingers once again hook around viktorâs underwear and pull down, ignoring the jitters that hum under your skin.
your hand wraps around vikâs semi hard cock and you give it a soft tug, rubbing right up the shaft until the tip. there was a new feeling in the air around all 3 of you. breaths being held, eyes watching ever so closely, the slight tremble to your hand. it had been different when it was just the two of you enjoying midnight meetings but now with jayce there tooâŠit felt far more scandalous and naughty.
âtell me what it feels like.â jayce whispers, purposely placing his chin into the crook of viktorâs neck, as his hands slowly run up along vikâs chest.
your own hand continues to move against viktorâs shaft, stroking him slowly up and down, moving to press your lips against his head.
âmmph, her fingers are a little cold,â viktor replies with a low groan. his chest rising and falling in quicker succession as he begins to get turned on. âbut it feels good.â he adds. and his honesty makes you smile a little.
you move your hand faster in return to his praise. trailing your fingers along his head, pressing your thumb into the slit of his cöck, where heâs growing sensitive and causing him to gasp softly. you take the moment to lean forward and capture the head of his cock inside of your mouth. drinking in the sight of viktorâs eyes fluttering, his fingers tightening onto whatever he can grasp, as your mouth wraps around him.
âkeep going viktor.â jayce instructs as you watch him place hot, heavy kisses against vikâs throat. one of his hands groping his thin chest and waist.
âw-warm! itâs so warm and wet,â vik breaks. heâs fully hard now as you suck on his head, making him whimper at the feeling. âfeelsâahâreally good.â he adds with a groan as his eyes return to watching you.
you can feel his thighs tighten as you swallow more of his cöck, continuing to use your hand to stroke up to your lips. you watch every expression that crosses viktorâs face along with jayceâs fingers that slowly begin to take off his vest. strips him of his vest and then works on unbuttoning his brown shirt underneath.
jayce keeps laying hot kisses along the back of his neck and on his throat, slumped over and threatening to swallow all of viktorâs thin frame.
the sight makes you somewhat giddy and excited to see what jayce does. but it never distracts you from making viktor feel good as well. sucking a little harder, spit bubbling up at the sides of your lips as you sink further down onto his lengthy shaft. your eyes are almost falling close to help you focus as you swallow more and more of him, but jayceâs voice catches your attention once again.
âshe looks so pretty like that, doesnât she, vik? makinâ you feel so good.â he whispers against just as pretty, pale skin. his words cause vik to stutter, hips lifting up and forcing you to swallow the rest of him. and you do so with ease.
you truly wouldnât have guessed jayce was so good at dirty talk but you welcomed any surprises at this point. viktor simply whines in response, head hanging low, gaze still on you as you continue your routine of sucking him off.
jayce stands to his full height then, hanging over viktor just enough so he could turn his face and capture his lips. viktorâs eyes widen in response but he does nothing to stop jayce; no, instead heâs melting into the kiss. you watch with eager curiosity as their tongues clash together, jayce easily winning in the battle of dominance, as one big hand of his moves up to gently caress viktorâs throat.
fuck, was it hot watching them. you can feel your pussy throbbing at the sight just as you can feel yourself growing wet against your panties. you squeeze your thighs together, slipping a hand down below to press your fingers into your core. the best you can through the pants you wear for the moment but the pressure is enough to make you groan. you move your lips faster along viktorâs shaft, sucking harsher and sloppier to bring him closer to his end.
the change of pace and jayceâs tongue surely has viktor coming undone quicker than usual. for he breaks the kiss with a harsh whine. âiâm close!â vik gasps, tossing his head back onto jayceâs shoulder.
jayce presses a quick kiss against his jaw before his hazel eyes return to watch you suck viktor off. his eyes are hazy and full of lust as he fixes his intense stare on what you do; which makes you shiver with newfound pleasure under his sight. his strong gaze makes you press your fingers into your pussy once again, seeking any form of satisfaction you could get for the moment.
âlook viktor,â jayce instructs as his hand smooths over viktorâs lower abdomen. âsheâs touching herself.â
viktorâs breath hitches in his throat but he moves his own lust filled gaze down to stare at you. with both of them returning to stare at you, you palm yourself harder through your pants. moving your hips in sync to every bob of your head, needy and desperate as things evolve, all the while you moan around vikâs cock.
itâs all too much for viktor as his hips lift and he thrusts wildly into your mouth. âgoing toâ!â he cries softly, body tightening, throwing his full weight back against jayce.
but jayce is quicker. one hand grabs your hair and pulls you off of vikâs twitching cock before he takes his hand and wraps it around where your mouth had just left. âstick out your tongue. i wanna see the mess he makes all over your face.â he grunts, pumping his fist quickly along vikâs entire shaft. his hand is much bigger than yours and it wraps entirely around viktor with ease, and it makes vik lose all control he mightâve pretended to have.
but you do as your told and swiftly stick your tongue out to catch whatever you can. all it takes is viktor staring at your tongue and jayceâs hand jerking him off to finish his orgasm. viktor forces himself to watch as he comes, fingers grasping and gripping onto anything he can thatâs near him as he tumbles over the edge with a sharp cry.
your name, along with jayceâs name, leaves viktorâs lips in a pathetic whimper as he comes. can feel the sticky substance coat your tongue, cheek, and chin with each rope jayce rubs out of him. all the while viktor and jayce watch as he makes a mess across your lips and face, never once looking anywhere else.
not until vik is completely spent, limp against jayce who holds him up effortlessly. the only noise now in the room is the shared panting between all three of you. you lick your lips, trying to clean yourself up just a little, before it was your turn to break the silence.
âletâs keep going.â

Title: His Dream Wife
Character(s): Richard (Original character / Original work)
Synopsis: He always wanted a perfect family, but life never gave him what he wanted. Instead, he was blackmailed into marrying a gold digger. But after seeing you for the first time the wife of his friend all he could think of was you. So don't mind him when he was given the option to swap his wife's consciousness with yours he took that chance immediately.
Warnings/tags: Yandere Dilf x meek reader, yandere pov, general yandere themes, body swap between reader and Yandere's wife, cheating (not done by reader), arranged, baby trapping, Yandere wants that traditional wife and lifestyle. Word count: 4.2k (Please tell me if I miss anything!)
Note: I just finished reading the webtoon "Marry My Husband," so you can probably see many small ideas taken from it in this story!
Ever since he was young, Richard had fantasies and dreams of a perfect family. He always loved the idea of someone relying on him just as much as he would on them, and someone who would love him exclusively and trust him completely. Maybe that was why he liked wolves, having been told back then that those animals would mate for life. He liked that. He wanted that. Friends were nice there is nothing wrong with that. But there is something about a family that he wanted. Maybe it was because he was jealous back then of how affectionate his grandparents were between each other, while his parents were far from that.
That was what he wanted and well maybe he started to want a little more the older he got. He wanted what his grandparents had, he wanted what the movies had⊠he wanted what his fantasies had. He loved the idea of a family, coming back from work to an affectionate housewife with her tummy big inside a second or third child while holding the first. The idea of kisses between each other, while his lover irrupts in giggles, playfully pushing him back telling him that he should not let the food turn cold or let the kids see them.
Someone he could spoil and give everything to while she relied on him and his money. He would work hard every day just for her and the kids, to give them the home they deserve. She would give back by cooking and cleaning the house, anybody knows that those things are hard work and everything takes time. But she would do it for the both of them, for him.Â
Yet he wasn't able to attain that dream. He wasn't allowed to have it. He attracted the attention of a viel woman, who had used any and every blackmail to tie him down to her. He was a manager at a big company already quickly climbing up but also came from a rich family, he unwantedly got the attention of a woman who was greedy for money and something handsome.Â
And her own manager was ripe for the picking.
She did many things but somehow he was able to avoid many of them however that could only go on for so long. She was cunning, too smart for her own good. He didn't know how she did it, it made him furious at what she did waking up in a hotel with her right beside him. He had no memories of the night yet she did when she told everyone that she had his baby a month later.
Everyone was frantic, his parents especially who cared so much about their appearance and reputation than anything else. While he hated them for the lack of love or care only forcing him to their whims to get a word above their acquaintances and rivals. The idea of him their own son mudding their name with the fact that he got someone pregnant without marriage made them furious. They wanted him to marry her immediately and he had no choice not when they held his job, reputation, and life above him not when that woman too did the same with her connections and people behind the scenes. It was idiotic that he fell into her hands like this, no matter what he did she did not let go and sank her claws deep into his skin.
Richard wanted to know if this child was his, but there was no time when everybody demanded his and that woman didn't give him a chance to check. Only to cry after the marriage that the child from miscarriage due to stress from his selfishness. Many blamed him even though he knew that she was lying this whole time but no matter what he said her crocodile tears worked far better than any explanation.
He was furious, angered by everything that happened but he wasn't allowed to do anything he wasn't allowed to break up with her. His life, everything that he worked for had turned to nothing by this woman. She could care less about love or something genuine and only cared about his money, demanding that he give her money to go shopping to buy expensive brand items and clothing while also going to parties and bars with her friends coming back home late leaving only a mess with how drunk she was.
Some days she would not come home at all and he assumed that she was with another man, as he didn't give in to her sexual demands even if they were husband and wife. At this point, the idea of touching her body even her hand disgusted him.
He thought he lost everything, he felt hopeless when he could not break up with that woman who made sure that he could not have a divorce without destroying his reputation and paying her a huge amount of cash. She was insane.
Rather than be with her he would rather drown in his work in his office. The house smelled like her strong perfume that could only make his head hurt the moment he took one whiff of it even though that woman wasn't even in the house having already left to head to the next new bar that opened up in the city.
That was his life, he genuinely thought that this was his ending, a story that didn't end so well, yet unable to change anything with knives around his neck daring him to move. But in the end, nothing is concrete, sometimes all it takes is helping an old lady who just so happens to be a fortune teller.Â
Typing away at his computer late at night in his office as he looked at the time, his thoughts could not help but let his thoughts drift for a moment. Richard closed his eyes slightly burning from looking at the laptop for too long. Leaning his chair, he pulled his tie down a little as he thought about this afternoon when he helped out a poor fortune teller the old woman after picking some stuff up at the market, who looked to be in her 80s stuck outside homeless and struggling to open her shop. As she had dropped something that had rolled towards him he picked it up and gave it to the old lady. He didn't know what moved him to help her. But as a present, he had gotten a small viel.
"Thank you for your help. You are quite the hard worker." The old woman said, sitting on the chair when everything was finally set up. She looked at him with a sly smile on her face. The old woman he later realized had a way of speaking, that wasn't normal. Weird yet at the same time sharp... too sharp. âToo bad you are stuck with such a mean spirit woman. How you handle such a woman for so long now⊠I am impressed.â Sharp as in she knew too much than he would have liked for a stranger to know.
"Buahahaha, don't worry boy this would be the last you would ever hear from me after this." The old woman laughed at his stiff glare. He didn't know how she did it but she seemed to know a lot about his relationship with his wife and the trouble that he was in yet at the same time she had a knack for poking at his sore spots.Â
Before Richard could think about calling the police she suddenly pulled out a vial inside containing a blue liquid, "You help me with my little trouble so I want to give you a little something, that could help you with your own little trouble. Besides, I couldn't resist helping someone in need.âÂ
âA little swap potion, let your wife and your sweetheart drink it and they will swap at the start of the next day. The lil spell would wear off in a month but if there is nothing to return to⊠well then that means nothing could even happen. Dont yah think so boy? Haha!â He took the vial from the lady, thinking about throwing it when she was nowhere in sight. The creepy grin didn't match her so-called kind action, but she was not finished with talking.
âYou better move fast my boy, that woman will make sure you will be dead before a year. It is very easy to hide evidence with a car crash.â
After that, it was difficult to throw the thin vial. Part of him could not drop the liquid into the bin, so he stored it on his office desk, locked but with a key, along with other important documents and such.
"Richard!! Why did you not show up at the dinner party?! Do you know how much embarrassment you have caused me?" his wife screamed. He couldn't help but groan in annoyance the moment he walked through the entrance. It was too early in the morning for such screaming, but she just continued on and on: "And why are you here now?!! It is the next day!? Explain yourself!"
"I don't need to explain myself to you at all." Walking past his wife who was glaring daggers at him. The more he learned about his wife the more he realized that she was similar to his parents, cared only about reputation, and was selfish putting themselves first before anything else. Hypocrites. "I had to finish up some work so I stayed at my office. I needed to finish all the file work before the meeting." Unlike a certain someone who would come home the next day afternoon after being in someone else's arms.Â
Walking into his own home, he could not recognize it... everything was thrown about and trashed everywhere. Expensive decorations on the floor and shattered. Sofa and pillows ripped letting cotton spill from them. Walls wet and dirty with glass cups, and pots of plants shattered on the floor. Looking at everything he kept his anger internally holding everything in as he continued to walk towards his office and bedroom locked with a key.
This wasn't the first time this happened, he had found out that there was no use to teaching someone who saw no reason to change her ways. He just needs to call in some cleaners, replace the things that broke and that was it.
Heading to his home office to place his bag on the table he suddenly received a text on his phone. Pulling out the device to check who it was while the woman continued to scream at him.
"That doesn't explain why you didn't tell me you couldn't join the dinner!" It was because she wouldn't listen, no matter what. If he had told her, she would have either demanded that he come or screamed at himâfirst on the phone, then again when he got home. "Answer your phone when I call! Are you even listening to me?!"
He knew of the calls and messages. She had been calling non-stop and texting for an hour since he didn't come to her friends' dinner. He just didn't care to answer and left it on mute to let him focus on his work. Looking at the sender he couldn't help but sigh.
"Hey, I am talking to you!" Her shrill screaming was mind-numbing as he got his clothes unable to stand her voice and would rather change elsewhere. "RICHARD!!!"
He quickly left the house and got into his car, ignoring the high-heeled shoe that was thrown at himâmissing as it landed. Starting the engine, he drove off, tuning out her shouts.
It was past midnight, and he was alone on the road. No one else was in sight. As he waited at a red light, he pulled out his phone to check a message. It was from a "friend" he had made at university, inviting him to dinner the next day. The guy had always been friendlyâor at least tried to be. He had the personality of a know-it-all, and while he didnât care for him much, it seemed the guy had once considered them friends. That was until money and popularity got to his head.
The guy knew a lot and had multiple connections and friends, he was the one who helped him find a cleaner will to keep silent about everything that happened in the house after the housemaid quit due to his wife assuming that he and the maid had done something sexual in the bedroom. The woman was crying as her hair had been pulled and her face slapped by his wife.
He also had seen the lust in that friend's eyes whenever he looked at her. Even after the guy was married for over a year he still looked at another wife with lust, it was disgusting to Richard that his friend would do such a thing but as the guy had helped him with a few of his troubles he didn't just cut him away.
The message was an invite for a double date. Having just left his house and his furious wife behind (not that he would ever take her anywhere unless absolutely forced), he tried to decline, saying that his wife was a bit "busy."
[Dude, dont worry about it and just come then.]
[Won't it be awkward for your wife?]
[It doesn't matter she would just say that it is fine either way.]
[Don't leave me here with her. You have already talked with her either way it is not a problem anymore. ]
From what he remembered it seemed that it was an arranged marriage between the two. Something that was decided by their parents for the benefit of their companies. The guy absolutely hated the fact that he was pushed into this marriage and had nothing good to say about his wife but that was a goody two shoes and boring. "She lacks the wildness that I am looking for." The guy said he was drinking in a bar one time having called him to express his frustrations after an official meeting with her. "She probably doesn't know anything except how to clean dishes.â
"I would not leave the house with a babe like yours. How do you keep everything in your pants?" The guy asked too drunk from all the alcohol to be careful with his words. "You might like my fiance a lot with your uptight attitude and lack of fun. Maybe we should switch wives later. Hey, wanna wife swap one time? It would be fun~~."
He had ignored the very obvious lust in the guyâs eyes, choosing not to address it and instead steer the conversation elsewhere. In the end, between hiccups, the guy told him heâd introduce him to his future wife and insisted that he should come to the wedding.
A few days later, with the invitation in hand, he attended the wedding. There, he saw the guyâs wifeâand he was absolutely floored.
It was just a moment. A fleeting glimpse. He caught sight of her for only a second, walking toward his friend across the hall. Through the open door of the bride's room, he saw her, and he froze.
She was stunning.
He could not believe that a woman like you would become the wife of the guy. He wanted to take a step back to see you again, yet when his wife called him he was forced to start walking again not wanting to cause a scene due to her fickle pride.Â
After all, he could see you again on the walkway when the wedding starts.
But he didn't want to leave either way.
Seated on the husband's side as the music stopped hinting to the guest that it was about to start soon. He watched as his friend walked the aisle, knowing but not commenting on the dirty slutish look his wife was giving to the guy looking at him up and down and waiting for you to show up.
You arrived soon after, dressed elegantly and sophisticated holding bouquets of flowers. He noticed how pretty you were, your walk and movements were elegant and soft, a far cry to his wife who walked to call the men's attention dressed a little too revealing for the formal occasion.
Would he have married a woman like you if this wench hadnât come to destroy his life? Would he have married you if your parents and your friendâs family hadnât forced the two of you into it? If this wasnât some kind of mask, and this really was you, he wouldnât have any complaints about being stuck with you. In fact, he would have demanded itâforced it, if he could. But that wasnât how life turned out... You were not his.
The wedding soon came to an end and that was it. Legally you were tied to his friend while he was already stuck with his own problems. It wasn't fair. He just couldn't let it go as he stayed in his seat even after the end of the wedding speech as everybody started to leave to eat and dance. While his wife went to meet up with the groom he stayed where he was just thinking.
How surprised he was that he ended up meeting you so soon.
The guy had invited him to dinner a few times and he quickly understood that it was to have someone else in the group after the guy was forced by his parents to take you out a few times. But that didn't matter to him when he was finally able to talk to you, to chat with you.
When he reached the restaurant, the guy stood up after a small conversation, stating that he needed to run to the bathroom, take a call, or use some other excuse he had up his sleeve. He left the table for as long as possible only to come back near the end with maybe a lipstick on his shirt or something. And if Richardâs wife was there, the guy would start subtlety flirting with his wife, uncaring if he or his own wife was there, not that the woman herself cared.
He pitied you, as you kept on your smile even when your eyes swirled with an understanding of your place, yet at the same time, you were still so hurt. You were silent for the most part keeping to yourself.
You and he become rather close but not really, it was a kind of comradery of your situations or that was what he would like to think. Whenever you and him were left alone, rather than keep the awkward air around he would start to talk to you.
You were a little flustered at first but slowly you started to get used to talking with him. Chatting amicably as if enjoying the conversation between you and him. He also did enjoy conversing with you. No heavy topics, it wasn't business or anything to do with work but stuff like traveling, hobbies, and favorite food. The things that you would like to do if you only had the time or chance to do them.Â
You weren't loud but you were delicate, gentle, and easy to fluster too. You were polite and careful with your words but also curious asking him many questions when he talks about his own stories. You would keep all your attention on him, even if he noticed you didn't seem maybe that interested in a topic or two.
There was one time he went to your apartment, an invitation from your husband who invited him and his wife. Your place was in a high-end apartment probably paid by the family, with decorations that were chic and modern but there was also a homely feeling to the place, cleaned and cared for with love, unlike his messed up house. The smell of the house was similar to that of a fragrant laundry detergent instead of strong perfume. Just for a moment, he realized that you were the one who did all this when he saw you coming out from the kitchen unwrapping the apron you were wearing.
Just for a moment you gave him an actual vision of a home, a vision of what he wanted so much and could have had yet was taken away from him. You gave him a vision of what it would be like to have a wife who cares so much.Â
He could not help but crumble and fall.
He started to crave for you, the more he chatted with you the more he fell every night he fantasized about you in his arms. He wished... he craved for you so much that he thought he started having delusions that you were his. At night, he couldnât close his eyes without seeing you clearly in the darkness.
But you just had to break everything, you just had to slam a hammer to his dreams and fantasies just like everyone else.
"I'm sorry," you said, a sorrowful smile on your lips. "I know my husband is using you to get out of our date. I apologize for taking up your time when you're so busy. Please, Iâll make sure this doesn't happen again. You donât have to come every time he asks you to. Iâm sure youâre busy too."
Why...? Why did you say that? He thought you knew that he already understood. He thought you knew that it didnât bother him at allâespecially when you both always had such enjoyable conversations. Why did you apologize? Why would you tell him to stop coming? Why were you pushing him away?
Your eyes looked at him in sorry and guilt and it clicked you were scared you were so scared that something wrong might happen. Because in the end, you were loyal, loyal to a man who didn't even love you.
It made him livid.Â
Even if you thought you knew more than he did, he was the one who knew more. He knew well what your husband does on nights that he isn't home, where he goes, and what he does there. In Richardâs own house, he could hear the sounds of two people with familiar voices thinking they were alone.Â
His wife and your husband.
You didn't know that, while you probably knew that he partied every day you seemed to have hope that he didn't have the audacity to lay in bed with another married woman much less the wife of his own friend. He didn't care who that guy lay with, but it made him irritated that a guy like him had you.
That appointment ended up awkward. Too awkward as both of you waited for your husband to arrive. The guy knew something was up the moment he arrived but seemed to choose not to say anything having enough tack not to right at that moment when he usually didn't.
Looking at the message again he sighed declining the invite again even when the guy tried to put up a fuss. It was just that he could not face you right now, not when you made it clear that all you felt towards him was guilt.
If only it was you... if only he had found you first if that woman didn't chain herself to him using blackmail and connections.
If he could just swap his wife with you he would have been happier... he would have the life he wished he had and he would spoil you with all his love and time. While you would wait oh so lovingly for him while cooking and cleaning while he worked to bring the money to keep you happy materially. He would be a better husband than your own and he already knew that you would be a far more better wife than his own.
But you just had to draw that line. That line of law and morality.
Watching the road as he drove, he could not help but let annoyance fester him at this whole situation till he saw a poster pass by him. Purple with a familiar design that he saw just this morning. Something to do with a certain fortune teller who knew a little too much and who gave him a small vial.
Truthfully he didn't believe in such things, but part of him had become so desperate that he just could not think straight. He was desperate and he knew that the old woman knew that and was laughing at him for it.
"Here yah go. This is a little something that would have cost a shit ton but I am gonna give it to you for free." The old woman cackled, she was having way too much fun knowing his situation. "If you plan to add this to a drink don't worry about the colour at all."
He didn't believe in such things. But there was a whisper in his mind a little spell in his brain that told him that this would work. That there was something different about that mad woman who probably lived only in entertainment.
His hand moved before he could even think about it, accepting the dinner invitation as he finally reached his office. It was supposed to be closed, but a few employees were pulling an all-nighter, so the building wasn't locked. In his mind, all he could think about was the life he once dreamed ofâthe life that had been taken away from him. All he wanted was a life with you, and that thingâthat vialâwould be the answer to all his problems.

David Gaider on Dorian, under a cut for length:
"Now this is a fun one. It's no big secret I have a lot of feelings about Dorian, not least of which because he was my first (and only) gay male companion. There's a lot more to him than that, of course (as there should be), and it was quite a trip. So let's go! Now, DAI is a story all its own, but I'm sticking to the characters. In this case, back at the beginning, the writers were going to try something new: we were going to let the artists take a more active role in the companion creation process. Why? Because not doing so had caused a lot of problems. See, here's the thing: writers and artists speak two different languages. When talking about characters, we talk about their story. Who they are. What they want. We'd write up these briefs, huge and full of information... but it was never the information the artists needed. They wanted visual cues. I don't mean describing their appearance. Sure, we'd usually provide that, especially if there was a story case to be made, but often the artists vetoed us on appearance stuff anyhow so meh. No, I mean they looked for visual language while we tended to only talk about who the characters *were*. What would happen is they'd hone in on something visual in our write-up not intended to be a focus. The first write-up for Anders in DA2, for instance, mentioned he was "haggard" after his journey... and the first concept we got was this pale, shriveled man. "What... is this?" "YOU SAID HAGGARD!" đ
"
"That was the other trick: sometimes when we DID try to be more descriptive, we had to be extra cautious because the words could be interpreted very differently. You encounter this recording VO, too. A VO note says "hysterical" and you *meant* "really upset" but the actor read "scream like a banshee" Thus this caused problems, like I said. The artists would struggle, sometimes conjuring details just to give the character *something* but which would change the character... and, to us, the character was created. Done. We were already invested, probably already writing them. Something had to give. So this time we wrote a bunch of character briefs - but short. One paragraph. We stuck to vibes and the *emotions* we wanted the concepts to evoke. And we didn't name them. They got titles like "Slick Con Man" or "Ice Queen", so we wouldn't get too attached. Then we handed these off to the artists. And it worked nicely. The ones that just weren't inspiring we'd discard, no problem. The others had juice... and the artists felt free to play and offer lots of variations because we weren't set on anything yet. A lot of times, what they produced ended up inspiring US. It was a neat back-and-forth."
"This is what led to Dorian, in fact. He came from a short write-up entitled "Rock Star Mage" and it really boiled down to "I'm cool and I know I'm cool, so take that you cretins". And just like that, the first sketches (by Casper Konefal, I think? I bet I'm wrong) were all amazing. Instant fire. Me: "He looks kind of like... Freddie Mercury?" Him: "Is that bad?" Me: "NO ARE YOU KIDDING THIS IS AMAZING" Plus there was a monkey. Sadly, we had to lose the monkey. There were iterations to come, but this was really where Dorian was born: Tevinter mage, noble, savant, and too cool for school."
"When did he become gay? Not right away. Like I said elsewhere, we didn't talk romance and sexuality until after the concepts were more in place. But as we were brainstorming about why this hot shot mage left Tevinter, the idea DID come up that maybe it was because he was gay. Not directly, however. Homophobia isn't really a thing in Thedas, after all, so at first blush I didn't think that could work. "Rich kid gets kicked out of the house for being gay" wasn't a trope I wanted to explore. But, then again, magister families in Tevinter are *obsessed* with the appearance of perfection, so...? Any deviation from the "norm" is considered scandal-worthy. It said weakness. It said you couldn't control your house. Now... THAT had real promise. The writing pit discussed it a lot. So I think it's fair to say that the gay fairy was already circling Dorian even before we got to the romance talk. I think it's also fair to say that the rest of the team realized I low-key wanted to write him, because when everyone started calling dibs, who was left standing for me? (I pick last, remember.) I gleefully snatched him up and got to work... ...about six months later. I was very busy at the time. đ
That late start meant I had to design and write VERY quickly. And I did. Somehow, though, this one... it came easily. "Catty gay man" isn't digging very deep, no surprise to anyone who knows me, and it had an extra layer of being so fun because Dorian was confident. He sparred verbally. I loved it."
"There was more to it, however. The conflict between Dorian and his father... ugh, how do I say this? Let's be clear: Dorian's story is not MY story, but it's also not far off. I wrote the entire confrontation scene in one go. After I was done, I probably cried harder than I ever have in my life. đ« I was unsure whether it was any good, however. I just didn't feel objective. I passed it over to Cori May - my friend but also Dorian's editor - and asked her to please tell me and be honest. She read it. She walked into my office after, tears streaming down her face, and just nodded. "It's good." Here's the thing. Not everyone is going to agree with this, but: I don't think a writer NEEDS to be a minority in order to write a minority. Sometimes those characters should simply exist, and we want them to. But if that character's story is ABOUT their experience as a minority? That's different. Dorian's story didn't need to revolve around his sexuality - and, honestly, it only did so as a tangent to his family issue, but they're so bound together it's probably irrelevant to split them - but my writing him meant it could be. It allowed me to SAY something. That felt good. It felt right. Ramon Tikaram came on board after a lengthy casting process (so many British Indian accents, oh god). I sat in on a few recording sessions... the confrontation scene, though? Ramon: *says line* Me: (curled up on a nearby sofa in fetal position) *shaky thumbs up* Caroline: "Yep. Great work, Ramon!""
"Dorian's sexuality isn't all he's about, but that's certainly how some viewed it. When the character was announced in 2014, his being gay was mentioned as the last of a number of points, and the instant response from some gamers was to act as if we'd called a press conference just to say THAT. ïżœïżœ It was annoying. Still is. Overall, however, the reaction to Dorian was very positive. The number of straight men who said they romanced him still pleases me. The number of fans who privately contacted me who'd been through conversion therapy, some who said Dorian helped them survive? Well. Gosh. đ I did write him for Trespasser - though I hear that a late scope cut meant every conversation had been chopped by 1/3rd or more, and that meant a lot of nuance lost. Which is sad, if true, because it sounds like the result of that left some Dorian romancers a bit cold. Such is how game dev rolls. đ If you need more proof of how it was hard for me to let go of him, a short story I wrote after Trespasser came out where Dorian has a bit of closure with his dead father: medium.com/@davidgaider... So yeah. He'll always be my boi. And I'll always be thankful Bio gave me this opportunity. â€ïž"
[source thread]
User: "I'm not going to lie, it's hard to take my mind off Dorian almost having a monkey." David Gaider: "If by âalmostâ you mean there was a picture of a monkey that the concept artist put there as a whim, and which would almost certainly have taken more cinematics and modeling time to put in than we could ever afford⊠then yes. đ" [source]

thinking about not only the specific people lucanis pulls in to represent the 'locks' in his psyche, but the storytelling that happens in the structure/order of them. the underlying ideas are presented something like:
the lucanis who went into the ossuary never came back out again; he died down there (the boy caterina raised is gone forever) -> you're putting yourself in danger doing this (by being close to me), you should leave because I can't bear it if you get hurt because of me -> it doesn't matter even if we do try this, it won't work anyway (again because of me) ('you know what he's like, you can open the door but he won't walk through it' :'( oofie doofie) -> what if the real secret is that there was never anything but the monster in here from the beginning. you should leave, there was never anything here worth saving in the first place. (implicitly: what if I deserved what happened, all along.)
it runs pretty cleanly from outward-oriented attachment anxiety ('caterina won't even want me back like this, she won't recognize me (the same way I no longer recognize myself)) and gradually deeper inwards until we reach self-image and self worth. or you know, the harrowing basic lack of it lol.
"careful -- they'll know we're not right," spite says in one of their first scenes... but clearly, some very deep part of lucanis has feared or suspected for much longer than that that there's something inherently not right at the core of him, way before any demon entered the picture. and the voice he gives those lines to is the person who should know him better than anyone in the world, who he has loved more than anyone in the world -- and who deliberately chose to hurt him so horrifically anyway. 'It's better if I'm just a monster and deserved what happened than it is to allow for the idea that the brother I love doesn't really exist and maybe never did'. it's better if he's fundamentally flawed in some way that needed fixing to help him survive, and that's why caterina chose to hurt him again and again -- out of love. (this one I think he might have a very sad wakeup call on one day if he ever ends up with the responsibility and care of a child of his own in some way and realizes just how alien the idea of ever intentionally hurting them for any reason is to him. oh buddy. also interesting that he keeps caterina as the outermost lock -- there IS a distance he keeps there that he hasn't with illario. he doesn't resent her 'anymore' he says, but he also keeps her carefully further away from his deepest self.)
as far as I could tell the only note in the mind prison that's fully hidden and needs to be uncovered is the sad painful helpless stupid little truth that even after all this, even knowing what happened... he still loves his brother. is there anything illario could ever do that would make lucanis completely stop loving him, do you think? sometimes the trouble with unconditional love is that it is, well. unconditional, even when some terms and conditions probably would have been in order haha.
that's the pattern you see there again and again; he would rather destroy and abandon and imprison himself at every turn than let go of love, even when it's just scraps, even when there's only ever enough of it to hurt him. it's only when rook shows up and as it were takes his hand and walks along with him that he can entertain the idea of changing the story of what walking out the door might mean in the end.
#tl;dr the demon is a metaphor about dissociation and trauma and it's doing its job thematically fucking pitch perfectly that way the end#dragon age#dragon age: the veilguard#dragon age: the veilguard spoilers#dragon age spoilers#lucanis dellamorte#dragon age meta#this mission is like ds9 the wire in terms of episodes you really can examine from a thousand different angles#and find something new and soulcrushingly sad every time. exactly my kind of episode in other words#whenever people say there's nothing to him but coffee and spite jokes some small part of me goes 'oh I'm so incredibly sorry!#it must be really hard and so impractical to go through life without being able to read :'( get better soon'#is that very nice of me. perhaps not. is the writing here *perfect*? of course not. but some people are also dedicated to being#wilfully blind (presumably b/c they would have preferred to see something else?? idk man)#lucanis' reaction to taash going 'I'm sorry I'm such a bad crow :'('... he could NEVER do what caterina did with him no matter what#you just can't use him like that. he needs the clean family/enemy/contract distinction or you just break him!!!#caterina literally what are you thinking. every day I ask myself this. (probably 'the only other option that keeps the seat in the family#is illario. so that's right out of course' lmao)#god forbid it happen anytime soon if it should happen b/c there's Stuff that needs working through first lol but he'd be such a soft dad

Magic Mirror
Summary: A magic mirror shows what a person desires most in the world. It shows Damian his twin standing next to him. Word Count: 1202
âCome on Damian, all you have to do is stand in front of it.â Dick pleaded with him while gesturing for him to step closer to the magic mirror they had recently obtained from a villainâs lair.Â
It was a rather plain mirror as well for being a rare magical item; nothing but a full length mirror with a simple black frame. The only interesting thing about it was that it had the ability to show what a person desired most in life when they stood in front of it.Â
Once that little trick was discovered the others had quickly jumped at the chance to stand in front of it. Which was foolish in Damianâs opinion; allowing everyone in the room to view your deepest desire.Â
âTt, I think not Richard; I after all already know what the mirror will show me.There is no point in me standing in front of it.âÂ
Before Dick can continue his beseeching his case though Jason cuts in from across the room; next to the mirror. âOh yeah? What do you think would show up, Demon brat; you dressed up as Batman?âÂ
âHe wishes,â Tim snickers next to Jason, âItâs probably gonna be something embarrassing and thatâs why he doesnât want to do it.âÂ
"Drake, if you know what's good for you you'll stop talking!"
Tim gives Jason a nudge with his elbow before loudly whispering, "That sounds like a conformation if I've ever heard one."Â
"Tt, how dare-" Damian is quickly cut off from his incoming tirade by Dick jumping back into the conversation.
"Okay! Let's not start arguing with one another." Dick says to all of them before directing his focus towards him, "Damian, if you really don't want to try out the mirror you don't have too. No one is going to force you to."Â
Damian merely rolls his eyes as he walks towards the mirror. The only reason he does so is because being Robin is what he desires the most; he knows it. Looking into the mirror will merely be about proving Drake and Todd wrong. "I'll do it Richard if only to shut these two imbeciles up."Â
The moment he stood in front of the mirror waiting for the magic to change the reflection Damian knew that he shouldn't have let Tim and Jason get to him. He had done something foolish and there was no going back now as the mirror swirls with a gold shimmer.Â
When the distorted image clears once more Damian swears he feels his heart stop. The reflection shown is not one a million years could have prepared him for. It is not him standing at his father's side, Batman and Robin, as he thought it would have been.Â
Instead it shows Damian exactly as he is at the moment. He would almost think the mirror didn't change anything if it weren't for the boy in the mirror standing next to him. Even after all these years it was someone he would never be able to forget.Â
His twin brother, Danyal, and him standing side by side once more. While Damian stands rigid and shocked, Danyal's posture is relaxed. He's even smiling as he leaning towards him until their shoulders touch in the reflection.
He doesn't feel it though; he wants to feel it.Â
All of a sudden it hits Damian that this is what he desires the most out of everything in the world. The only thing he wants is for his brother to be alive and with him at the manor. With the family Danyal not got the chance to know; the family that doesn't even know he exists.Â
In the blink of an eye the magical gold swirls take over the mirror once more, and when it clears it is once again just himself looking back at him.Â
After what must be an eternity of staring at the mirror Damian realizes that everything around him is too quiet. He snaps his head to the side where his brothers are, and sees the three of them staring back at him. All of them are in varying degrees of shock and curiosity at what they had just seen.Â
He considers lying at first. Saying that he had no idea who the boy was. He can't find it in himself to do that though. Damian had kept his brother a secret long enough; maybe it would be good for the others to know. "That Richard was my twin brother; Danyal."Â
With those words Damian practically collapses on the nearest chair; feeling drained and exhausted. The others follow suit as they too take seats next to him.Â
"Danyal ⊠Danyal was kind. He understood people much more than I ever will." He takes a deep breath, "He was smart and curious. Always asking questions and wanting to understand everything around him. It was always the stars that fascinated him the most."
"Sounds like a good kid," Jason starts, "must have gotten all the friendly genes in the womb."
"For once I think I agree with you, Todd."Â
The silence that follows is thick and suffocating. It is luckily broken after a few seconds by Tim's hesitant question, "What happened to him?"
That was the big question wasn't it? What happened to Danyal; to the twin and brother that wasn't with him when he arrived at the manor?
"Danyal ⊠died a couple years before I came here. The two of us were attacked by a group of rogue assassins after our study lessons." Damian swallows, his throat feels tight, "I wasn't as focused as I should have been, and Danyal ended up taking a fetal hit meant for me."
"Damian-"Â
"Let me finish, Richard." He snaps. He doesn't think he would be able to finish if otherwise interrupted. "Danyal was dead by the time he was finally brought to the pits. I knew there was a chance it wouldn't work, but I didn't think it would take him completely. His body was never recovered from the pits.I never got to bury my brother."Â
It's when his vision starts to blur that Damian realizes that he's crying. Danyal always did have a way of making Damian show emotions that he would rather keep hidden.
He feels himself being pulled into a chest, and for now he doesn't fight against it. Damian's not sure if he honestly could at the moment.Â
âFather doesnât know about this.â Damian continues after a few minutes of silently sobbing in Dickâs arms.Â
âHe needs to know.â Tim states, âMaybe not today, but soon.âÂ
âYou tell him when youâre ready, short stack. The old man can deal with not being told right away.â Jason reassures him when he doesnât answer Tim right away.Â
"What am I not being told?" Damian feels as if he's been dunked in water when he realizes that his Father had heard the end of their conversation.Â
"Father."
"Damian?" Bruce takes in his youngest son's appearance and it doesn't take a genius to know that he's in some kind of emotional distress.Which in of itself is very rare for him to be in.
"Father, please take a seat. There is something I need to tell you."Â

Charlotte did suspect something, but I wouldn't go so far as to say she definitely saw it coming. At Rosings, we read:
âWhat can be the meaning of this?â said Charlotte, as soon as he was gone. âMy dear Eliza, he [Mr. Darcy] must be in love with you, or he would never have called on us in this familiar way.â But when Elizabeth told of his silence, it did not seem very likely, even to Charlotteâs wishes, to be the case; and, after various conjectures, they could at last only suppose his visit to proceed from the difficulty of finding anything to do, which was the more probable from the time of year. All field sports were over. Within doors there was Lady Catherine, books, and a billiard table, but gentlemen cannot be always within doors; and in the nearness of the Parsonage, or the pleasantness of the walk to it, or of the people who lived in it, the two cousins found a temptation from this period of walking thither almost every day. They called at various times of the morning, sometimes separately, sometimes together, and now and then accompanied by their aunt. It was plain to them all that Colonel Fitzwilliam came because he had pleasure in their society, a persuasion which of course recommended him still more [...]. But why Mr. Darcy came so often to the Parsonage it was more difficult to understand. It could not be for society, as he frequently sat there ten minutes together without opening his lips; and when he did speak, it seemed the effect of necessity rather than of choiceâa sacrifice to propriety, not a pleasure to himself. He seldom appeared really animated. Mrs. Collins knew not what to make of him. Colonel Fitzwilliamâs occasionally laughing at his stupidity proved that he was generally different, which her own knowledge of him could not have told her; and as she would have liked to believe this change the effect of love, and the object of that love her friend Eliza, she set herself seriously to work to find it out: she watched him whenever they were at Rosings, and whenever he came to Hunsford; but without much success. He certainly looked at her friend a great deal, but the expression of that look was disputable. It was an earnest, steadfast gaze, but she often doubted whether there were much admiration in it, and sometimes it seemed nothing but absence of mind. She had once or twice suggested to Elizabeth the possibility of his being partial to her, but Elizabeth always laughed at the idea; and Mrs. Collins did not think it right to press the subject, from the danger of raising expectations which might only end in disappointment; for in her opinion it admitted not of a doubt, that all her friendâs dislike would vanish, if she could suppose him to be in her power.
Then again, Charlotte of course knows less of the situation than Elizabeth does.
i love how a big part of elizabeth bennetâs character is that she is obviously very smart, she is very observant, but she can easily be led astray by her preconceived notions, by things that she already has convinced herself of believing. and this is most obvious by her not seeing mr. darcyâs proposal coming at all, because girl that man was openly flirting with her. i donât think this is shown a lot in the movie or the tv series, but he keeps teasing her, answering her witty remarks with a smile, the whole âi am not afraid of youâ thing. like, charlotte saw it coming, colonel fitzwilliam definitely saw it coming, the gardiners knew as soon as they saw them together later in the book, mr darcy was not as subtle as he thought he was being
seriously, god bless you jane austen for giving us this romance of two fucking idiots constantly misunderstanding each otherâs actions and intentions. god bless you for giving us mr âaha so like what do you think of your friendâs marriage? you wouldnât mind living away from your family when you marry right? oh, no reason, no reason, just a random thought. and what do you think of rosings, you know if hypothetically you were ever a guest there, no, no reason heheâ, and miss âi wonder why i keep coming across mr darcy during my walks, i even made sure to tell him that this is where i usually take my walks so he can avoid me but we are still??? running into each other???? and he keeps asking me all these strange questions too, what a weirdoâ
just, two idiots that were made for each other

lord please save her for me
paige bueckers x fem oc
hello! welcome to my new fic, i hope u like it! please let me know what yâall think, i have each chapter planned out but iâm not sure when iâll update again. probably soon lmao đđ©ââ€ïžâđâđ©đȘœđ
chapter one:
leni knew the first time she saw paige again it would feel like a kick in the stomach but to say she felt winded was an understatement. the sight in front of her had her breath stuck in her throat, heart beating out of her chest and her head spinning, she had to rest on the wall to balance herself. it wasnât out of character for paige to be here. it was frat party at the beginning of the semester. paige was almost guaranteed to be here. but leni would have betted her life that the blonde wouldâve come with her friends not the red head, wearing barely any clothes that was latched onto her arm currently.
âyou good babe?â leniâs girlfriend, riley asks from beside her. she reached out a hand to rest on lenis back but the curly haired girl shrugged her off, âim fine. just feeling hot. can you get me some water?â leni asks in hopes to have a moment alone with her thoughts to process what she just saw. paige with a girl that wasnât her. her paige with a girl that looked nothing like her.
despite having a girlfriend herself, leni was far from a hypocrite. a year ago leni was bearing her heart, all but begging paige to turn thier friends with benefits deal into something more serious. they already spent evenings laid together in bed. weekends walking around target or studying together. off days lounging around each others apartments. they were only fucking each other too. what would a title change? apparently a lot to paige.
leni tried for days but paige could not be swayed, shaking her head and furrowing her brow each time leni brought up the idea of them being girlfriends.
âi just donât do that kind of thing len.â
âwhat we have right now is good. why change it?â
âiâm focused on basketball, i donât need distractions.â
leni reached her breaking point, telling paige it was either they make it official or they never see each other again. she couldnât continue in âwill they, wonât theyâ cycle. leni had caught feelings for paige. feelings so deep she wanted to shout it from the rooftops and it felt like her entire world crashed down when paige said it was best if they didnât see each other again.
leni cried for days on end. buried under her duvet, waiting and wishing for paige to call or text and say she was wrong. to say she cared for leni they way leni cared for her. but no call or text came and eventually leni had to pick herself up and dust herself off. life doesnât end when a blue eyed girl breaks your heart.
paige saw leni as soon as she walked in. of course she did. paige would spot leni in a sea of a thousand people. her bouncy curls, longer than the last time paige saw them, her brown skin, still showing the remnants of summer, her dark brown eyes, deep as ever as they flitted around the room. paige also saw the blonde girl next to leni, the way her hand touched her back, the way her lips pressed to lenis temple. paige wanted to punch that girl right in the face.
âwhere are you going?â camilla, paiges girlfriend asks as paige begins to walk away from her, âjust to find a toilet. i wonât be long.â paige lies and she hurries off before camilla can say anything in response. paige wasnât going to find a toilet. paige was going to find leni and she knew exactly where she would be.
âlet me guess. you needed some fresh air.â hearing paiges voice made lenis hairs stand on end. she hadnât heard that raspy drawl in so long she had forgotten what it sounded like. âyou never did like parties.â paige says standing next to leni on the front porch. leni refused to look at paige, staring straight ahead, she focused on a street lamp in the distance that flickered. âi still donât.â she says and in her head, her voice was strong and brave but her lips betrayed her and her words came out shaky and low.
âwhy are you here then?â paige asks, ever the curious girl. âi came with my g- a fri-â leni couldnât bring herself to say the word girlfriend to paige. it was stuck in her throat threatening to choke her. âyour girlfriend. you can say it len. you came with your girlfriend.â
âyeah. i did. i came with my girlfriend. looks like you did too. never knew red heads were your thing.â leni all but spits at paige, finally building the courage to look at her. and when she does, the past twelve months of healing and moving on completely unravel and leni feels as though she about to faint.
paige looks the same but simultaneously so different. her hair is still blonde but itâs shorter and a lot brighter, like sheâs just had highlights. her skin looks smoother, in fact sheâs glowing. leni was sure sheâd grown a few inches too, paige was always taller than her but not this much taller. and as bad as leni was trying not to look, it was clear paige had been in the gym. the crop top she wore exposed her toned stomach and muscular arms and leniâs heart rate quickened as memories of those very arms being wrapped around her not so long ago flashed in her mind.
âare blondes your thing or just girls that look like me?â paige retorts and leni scoffs, âget your head out of your ass paige. girls that donât treat me like iâm nothing is my thing.â paige feels limp as leni says that, did she really make leni think she was nothing?
paige had a difficult time with relationships. she branded herself as ïżœïżœïżœnot a relationship girlâ, blaming her focus on basketball as the reason but paige knew that was bullshit. paige wanted nothing more than to have a girl in the stands cheering for her, to come home after practice and her bedroom not be empty but growing up all paige knew was turbulent relationships and broken homes and she vowed to never hurt someone the way she watched her parents hurt each other. and the only way she knew how to do that was to avoid relationships altogether.
âyou werenât nothing to me, len.â paige defends herself but it feels pointless, lenis feelings were written on her face, she always found it hard to mask her emotions and nothing had changed.
âiâm sorry. what i did wasnât fair. i was stupid, so fucking stupid. letting you go-â leni couldnât hear this. not here, not now. not ever actually. leni had gone through hell and back trying to get over paige, just ask her friends who had hugged her while she sobbed, forced her eat when she refused, literally picked her up off the floor multiple nights in a row after she drank enough wine to make her forget paige ever existed.
âpaige, stop. this conversation is futile and one year too late.â leni holds her hand up to stop paige from saying anymore. to stop her from saying the words she was begging to hear last year.
âiâve changed len. i promise. i tried so hard, i worked so hard to change for you. i want to show you that.â
âhave you lost your fucking mind? i have a girlfriend paige and so do you. iâm happy. someone loves me, cares for me and itâs not a secret. itâs not behind closed doors. iâm someoneâs girlfriend and theyâre proud of that. and itâs fucked up of you to say all this stuff now, all this time later. i wasnât enough for you and that ripped my fucking heart to pieces!â
âyou were enough. you are enough. i was just blind and scared.â
leni was fighting the tears that threatened to spill, she didnât want to cry in front of paige, give her the satisfaction of knowing she still affected leni.
paige couldnât bare to see leni cry, the way her eyes glossed over and nose turned red, the way her lip quivered made paiges heart pang with guilt because after all, she was the reason leni was crying. âplease donât cry. i meant what i said. i really am sorry. and i know itâs complicated but i couldnât not tell you this. i couldnât not at least try it would feel like iâm robbing us of a chance.â
leni has averted her gaze again, there was something about holding eye contact with paige that felt like two hands around her neck squeezing every last breath out of her. it was suffocating and all consuming. when she was around paige, leni didnât feel like she was in the same realm as everyone else, she felt transported to somewhere far away but she had to bring herself back down to earth before she did or said something she regretted.
âa year ago you looked me in my eyes and said it would be for the best if we never saw each other again and you were right paige. i shouldnât have come to this stupid party and you shouldnât have followed me out here. from now on, we go back to how it was before. you donât know me. i donât know you.â
âbut i do know you len and you know me. so well.â paige does what sheâs been dying to do since stepping outside with leni and she reaches out and touches her cheek. wiping a stray tear but her hand lingers and lenis eyes flutter closed at the feeling of paige. a feeling sheâs craved for so long now, a feeling sheâs dreamt about experiencing again.
paige has always felt a magnetic pull towards leni. the first time she met her, she was intrigued. she wanted to know more about the dark, curly haired girl. they sat for hours the first time they spoke then they ended up in paiges bed and paige got her wish of knowing more about leni. she knew leni so well it was as if sheâd studied her. she knew what made her tick, how push her buttons, how to make her feel good. paige could read leni like a book, answering her questions before leni even asked them. thatâs not what scared paige though. she knew she could control her feelings. what scared paige was the fact leni knew her in the same way. if paige bueckers was a book, leni had every word committed to memory.
leni placed her hand over paiges, still cupping her face, âpaige, i canât-â she begins to speak but paige cuts her off. âtell me you love her more than me. tell me what you have feels realer than what we had. tell me that and iâll leave you alone.â
leni couldnât say that. she couldnât say any of it because it wasnât true. sheâs never loved anyone the way she loves paige and she doubts she ever will. but leni needed to protect herself. paige hurt her and leni couldnât cope with that again and she had no reason to believe paige when she said sheâd changed.
âdonât do that.â leni says looking at paige, her eyes as blue as ever, round and soft, pulling leni in. âdonât make this my decision. you walked away from me.â
âand it was the biggest mistake of my life.â paige says, eyes flicking down to lenis lips. she wanted to kiss her so bad. push her up against the wall, press her body into hers, one hand on her hip, the other in her hair. she wanted their lips to be on each otherâs, she wanted to taste lenis cherry lip balm, tongues moving in sync as they meshed into one being.
âa mistake youâll have to live with. i care about myself too much to risk being destroyed by the whirlwind that comes along with you paige.â lenis voice breaks as she turns away from paige as much as she believed paige was the reason they never worked out, she couldnât help but feel like she walking away from what sheâs always wanted.
âleni please-â paiges voice also faltered as she tried to pull leni back but the girl was strong and determined, âgoodbye, paige.â
leni had no time to ruminate over the conversation and just about managed to wipe her tear stained cheeks before riley appeared in front of her.
âthere you are! i got your water. who were you talking to out there?â
âno one. no one at all. letâs go dance.â leni says, plastering the fakest of smiles on her face. she didnât worry that riley would notice because riley rarely noticed anything.
leni spent the rest of the night knocking back drinks and willing herself to stop glancing at paige but it was near impossible. the six foot, one hundred and sixty pound girl was alluring to say the least and with her also staring back, leni was beginning to lose composure.
âkiss me.â leni asserts, grabbing on to rileys shirt collar, pulling her down. riley looks confused but she would never deny kissing her beautiful girlfriend so she presses their lips together, leni deepens the kiss, her tongue slipping into rileys mouth but itâs not right. it doesnât feel right. itâs not paige. and that makes leni feel sick. sheâll never kiss paige again and sheâll search for her in every girl but itâll be pointless because no one could compare. no one could even come close.
now breathless from a phoney, drunken make out session that left nothing but the sour taste of beer in her mouth, leni pulls away from riley but her eyes immediately go to where paige was stood just minutes ago. but the athlete is gone. the only sign of her once being there was her girlfriend, now left holding two drinks. âiâm going to the bathroom.â leni mumbles and she slips away from riley, leaving her too, with a drink in each hand.
the multiple drinks leni had consumed in quick succession were catching up to her and her body swayed as she walked around the frat house looking for paige. she swung open random doors, bursting in on one too many explicit activities that she wish she never saw. âsorry, my bad.â she muttered quickly closing another door. she continued her search and by the time she reached the end of the hall, with no sign of paige, she actually needed to pee.
the bathroom was occupied but leni couldnât wait, she knocked on the door over and over, âif youâre in there fucking, get out! iâm about to piss my pants!â she shouted over the music and she heard the lock click before the door slowly opened, âyou never were very patient.â paige emerged from the bathroom and leni felt like this was fate. âi was looking for you.â she slurred, glancing up at paige. âyou were?â leni nods, her eyes are glassy from intoxication, âi hate you for hurting me.â leni mutters but her actions do not resemble hate, they are needy and frantic as she pushes paige backwards into the bathroom, knocking the door closed with her foot.
âyou hate me?â paige asks, hearing those words hurt but feeling lenis touch on her chest as she shoved her against the wall overrode any of that. âuh huh.â leni nods again, her hand now travelling down paiges chest and gripping her waist. âhow much do you hate me?â paige tucks a piece of lenis hair behind her ear and leni leans into the touch, âso fucking much.â lenis breathing is ragged now as she pushes herself against paige, the craving she had for this woman was carnal and she doesnât know how she managed to stay away from her for an entire year.
âyou know im sorry. im different now len. hurting you is my biggest regret.â paige caresses lenis cheek, rubbing her thumb in small circles, she missed the feeling of her soft skin under her fingertips, âand this might just be mine.â leni says as she stands on her tiptoes to reach paige, crashing their lips together for the first time in over three hundred and sixty five days.
the kiss is sloppy and heated and influenced by the copious amounts of alcohol both girls had in their systems. paiges hands found lenis waist and she moaned into her mouth as her fingers explored every dip and curve on her body. leni felt like she was drowning and paige was air, she needed as much as she could get, nipping at paiges bottom lip before slipping her tongue into her mouth, saliva mixing to create the concoction that both girls missed so much.
âleni, are you in there?â there was a knock at the door and the voice of riley made leni jump away from paige, âitâs riley.â she whispered, eyes wide, âjust be quiet.â paige whispered back. âleni?â rileys voice called out again and leni was violently brought back down to earth.
what the hell was she doing? in a frat house bathroom with her ex friend with benefits, kissing her when she had a girlfriend. when they both had girlfriends. this wasnât leni. it wasnât who she was and she wouldnât hurt someone. she wouldnât allow herself to.
âno. this was a mistake. weâre drunk.â leni fixed her appearance in the mirror, smoothing down her tossled curls that paige had messed up, wiping the smudged lip liner from her cupids bow and re-adjusting her shirt that had been pulled down exposing the lace of her bra.
paige watched her silently, blue eyes several shades darker as they glared into the mirror at lenis reflection. leni caught her gaze and for a split second she considered listening to paige and staying silent but riley called out her name again, âim coming!â leni responded and without so much as a glance at paige she unlocked the bathroom door and closed it tight behind her. leaving paige alone and confused, wondering what the fuck just happened.

"Always."
lando norris x gn!bf!reader
notes: I havenât written since 2019, so bear with me. Iâve found myself thinking about a little blurb for Lando recently (actually a lot of ideas, but this one is sticking with me more than the others at the moment).
For some context, Landoâs been receiving a huge amount of hate online (and in-person) recently. I havenât been a fan for that longâI got into F1 this summer, in 2024âbut Iâve grown to care about him. I was there for Lando losing the championship, and while I think we all knew it would come to this (Max winning felt inevitable) but Iâm proud of Lando for pushing so hard this entire year.
Still, with all the hate directed at him, Iâm seeing a new side of him, and Iâm learning that heâs a person with feelings like anyone else. I can tell he doesnât always have the highest opinion of himself and tends to take the blame for anything that goes wrong during his races. What struck me about this is how much I relate to it. I blame myself for things out of my control or when I mess up. What sucks with Lando is that his small, human errors are what so many people focus on to criticize himâwhether itâs why he didnât win the championship or why they think heâs a bad person (which he absolutely isnât).
The inspiration for this came from an interview he did after the Brazilian GP. At that point, everyone knew it was almost mathematically impossible for Lando to win the championship, and he talked about struggling in the aftermath: âI literally couldnât sleep for the first two daysâŠSo I did like, what, 36-40 hours straight. So that probably made everything worse. When youâre tired, youâre more moody, and that kind of thingâŠI was just sat at home alone. It probably would have been better if I had been with my friends. But they donât live in Monaco. They also have lives and are busy doing other things. And Iâm a big overthinker, so like the whole flight home, the whole week, it just played over and over in my head. What could I have done differently? Why did I do that? Why did I not do this? You start thinking of all the scenarios that you kind of blame yourself for, why itâs now not possible, that kind of thing. And yeah, because I overthink and I struggle with that kind of thing, that took a bigger toll in the days after. It wasnât an easy time.â
And I keep on finding myself wishing someone could have been there for him in person, so that he was okay. So, I wrote this. The reader in this is dating Lando but is written as a gender-neutral character that uses They/Them pronouns. The reader also has a service dog, a Bernese Mountain Dog named Thunder, to help with their own depression and anxiety (Iâm not an expert on service dogs, so this many not be 100% accurate).
They woke up that early morning to the sunlight shining on their face, streaming in from the window outside. The bliss of sleep clung to them as they lay there, cocooned in warmth, the covers snug around their body. They stretched lazily, blinking their eyes open.
Instinctively, they turned to look beside themâonly to find the space next to them empty. Itâs too early in the morning to be anywhere else but in bed, even for training, they thought. Lando should still be here.
The realization pulled them out of their sleepy haze. The past couple of days had been not kind to Lando. They knew that he had a tendency to keep his feelings bottled up and beat himself up over his perceived failures. They understood that feeling all too wellâthe guilt, the constant sense of disappointment, the nagging thought that were never good enough. They had wrestled with those feelings since they were a child.
It wasnât something that had an easy fix. If they had found the answer, they would have shared it with Lando years ago. But they had learned that the best way to fight those thoughts wasnât isolation. Talking to someone, writing feelings down, even simple positive affirmationsâthought they might sound sillyâcould help push back against the negative spiral. They had told Lando this countless times.
But Lando had a problem with not wanting to âinconvenienceâ anyone with his emotions. No matter how many times they reassured him that they were always there for him, he struggled to let himself. They didnât blame himâit was human to struggle against your own mind.
What made everything worse was the constant online hate. Every little mistake or sarcastic comment from Lando seemed to turn into an avalanche of criticism. They remembered the first time theyâd seen him like a hateful comment about himself on Instagramâthe little heart next to a cruel statement, paired with note: âCreator liked this.â It had broken their heart. How could the Lando they loved ever believe such awful things about himself?
After Brazil, it had been clear that he wasnât okay. Heâd barely spoken since coming home, choosing instead to himself. They had given him space, hoping heâd find a way to process his feelings. But by the second morning, when he still hadnât come to bedâalmost forty hours after returning homeâthey knew they couldnât stand by any longer.
That morning, they rose slowly from the bed, a plan beginning to form in their mind. Lanod needed someone to step inâsomeone to remind him he didnât have to face his struggles alone. They were determined to be that person for him. Â They couldnât take it anymore, seeing the person they loved so badly, punishing himself over his âfailures.â
The first step was to confirm where he was. Grabbing their phone, they opened Twitch and navigated to Maxâs stream. After a few moments of watching, they heard Landoâs voiceâtired, strained, but unmistakably his. He was joking with Max, his words clipped, like he was holding himself together with sheer willpower. It was enough to break their heart. They opened their messages with Max.
Thunder's Owner
Lanâs streaming with you rn?
Sent at 7:48 AM.
After a few seconds, Max replied.
Maximilian
Yeah heâs on voice-only.
Sent at 7:50 AM.
Gonna do something about him?
Sent at 7:50 AM.
Max knew. Of course he did. He probably heard the exhaustion in Landoâs voice, the edge self-loathing that came with overthinking. They typed back quickly:
Thunder's Owner
Yeah
Sent 7:52 AM.
Going to unplug his setup and drag him out of there.
Sent 7:52 AM.
Maximilian
Lol.
Sent 7:52 AM.
Iâll keep an eye out for when he disappears.
Sent 7:53 AM.
Thunder's Owner
Thx
Sent 7:54 AM.
They quietly made their way to Landoâs gaming room and eased the door open. Lando sat at his desk, controller in hand, headset clamped over messy curls. He looked worn down, his shoulders slumped as he focused on the screen. His voice through, muted put playful, as he bantered with Max.
For a moment, they just watched him. Even now, he was handsome, but the tiredness in his expression made their chest ache. He deserved rest. He deserved to feel okay. And he wasnât going to get that by sitting here punishing himself.
As soon as Lando died in-game and leaned back in his chair, they seized the opportunity. They crossed the room, catching his attention when they came into view.
âWhyâre youââ Lando began, frowning, but they didnât let him finish. Reaching down, they unplugged everything from the wall.
âWhat the hellââ he exclaimed, spinning around in his chair.
âNo,â they said firmly, cutting him off. âIâm not you hurt yourself anymore. Get up.â
Lando blinked, clearly taken aback. âYou canât just do that!â he protested, but they were already tugging gently at him arm, urging him out of his chair.
âAngel, what are youââ
âNo,â they repeated, their voice steady. âGet up,â
Lando hesitated for a moment before letting out a resigned sigh and standing. They took his hand, leading him out of the gaming room and down the hall to the living room. He didnât resist, but he followed like a man in a daze. Once they reached the couch, they turned to him. âSit,â they said, pointing at the cushions. Lando raised an eyebrow, opening his mouth to argue, but they shook their head. âStay.â
They turned to Thunder, who had been waiting for them in the hallway, and told him, âThunder, guard,â while pointing at Lando.
The dog immediately moved into position, standing alert in front of the couch. Landoâs eyes widened slightly as Thunder fixed him with an unblinking stare. He shifted as if to get up, but Thunderâs stance didnât waver.
âJeez, I wasnât going to get up,â he mumbled to Thunder, but Thunder just sat there and watched him until he fully relaxed back into the couch.
The thought ran through Landoâs head, how he had honestly forgotten how menacing his own dog could look. He knew Thunder was trained, saw reminders of it daily with how he interacted with his partner, but he was still shocked at how trained Thunder really was at that moment.
Thunder was still staring at him when he pulled out his phone from his pocket, opening up his texts with Max.
LN
I was just dragged out of my gaming room and told to sit on the couch and like a dog.
Sent at 8:05 AM.
Not against it, but how tf did they get so determined?
Sent at 8:05 AM.
Thunderâs watching me right now.
Sent at 8:06 AM.
I forgot how menacing he could be.
Sent at 8:06 AM.
*Picture attached.*
Lol.
Sent at 8:06 AM.
Max (The 1st One)
Heâs like âtry me, I dare youâ
Sent at 8:06 AM.
LN
Yeah, I donât particularly want to try him
Sent at 8:07 AM.
Max (The 1st One)
Lol.
Sent at 8:07 AM.
They told me before they did it
Sent at 8:07 AM.
I just let them. Lol.
Sent at 8:07 AM.
LN
Helpful. What if they were trying to  kill me?
Sent at 8:08 AM.
They wouldnât have had to if you kept doing what you were doing.
Sent at 8:09 AM.
Landoâs let out a quiet sigh, Maxâs words sinking in. He glanced at Thunder, who hadnât moved, and felt a pang of guilt. Heâd pushed himself too far again, and this time it had clearly worried his partner.
A few minutes later, his partner walked back into their living room. He thought they looked beautiful, wearing one of his old t-shirts and a pair of boxers. They were entirely focused on the bowl they were carrying, and only looked up when they got close enough to hand it to him. He gently took the bowl, looked into it and saw it was one of his prep meals. While not his favorite breakfast, he knew he just needed to eat first, so he started taking bites.
He glanced up every so often, and each time he did, his partner was just sitting there and watching him eat. Lando almost chuckled at his own thought that they looked just like Thunder when watching him, and he smiled into his bowl at the thought. His partner didnât see his smile, but he continued to eat until he had finished the bowl.
When he was done eating, he set the bowl down, and his partner again pulled him up by the crook of his arm. He just let them do so, having a thought of what was going to happen next.
His partner led them both down the hallway to their bedroom, and opened the door, leading him to sit on their bed, then they turned around and went to close their blinds and draw their black-out curtains to cover up the sunlight from the window. They had turned on their bedside lamp earlier, and the soft orange glow of the lamp permeated the room. They walked past him again, going to close the door after letting Thunder in, then they walked back to their side of the bed, and pulled him to lie down against them.
As he settled against their chest, he felt a bit odd, it being a bit of a difference to feel how much he was loved by them. How much they cared for him. And he finally spoke again, âThank you.â
âAlways, Lan. Always.â They replied, pressing a kiss to his hair.
And for the first time in days, he let himself sleep.

Hello and is it okay to request TF with this idea?
Fem Buddy as a cybertronian (or Terran) and has a twin bot. They've been raised on earth and by humans, since they were babies and They don't know anything about Cybertron, they still loves/cares Earth and anything on it
They're famous or celebrity twins on earth. (like being genius, performer, artist, model, YouTuber, actor, or others, you choose). They do love it, the fame, the happy faces that humans get when seeing them, but They sometimes wondered where they came from.
Fem Buddy and Male! Twin are both inseparable, caring for each other, they sometimes speak/act in unison, having same and/or sharing thoughts, and had great teamwork/synchronization, and yet had teasings/sassiness in a mild way
Yet Fem Buddy and Twin have differences
Fem Bot looks like a Decepticon, has an reclusive yet timid and good-hearted, yet sometimes expressive with closed lip, also being supportive (and somewhat child-like or oblivious/innocent) twin.
M! Twin, he looks similar to an Autobot, known for being a leading/leader twin, having energetic, bold, and pompous yet somewhat mature, or something like spoiled prince yet mature and has smart personality, often showing his sharp teeth, whether he's smiling, frowning, etc., also being very protective/ aggressive for his twin.
You can add this idea if you want:
Autobots' human friend/kid(s) have been a fan of the twins (and probably had a celebrity crush/es on them), before the cybertronian thing, and they introduce the Autobots to these Celebrity twins via media of sort?
I apologize if this is complicated or I've been requested a lot. Thank you so much and also take care of yourself.
(also Happy Decepticon Day!)
Finally! I got to this one before it got erased! Again!
Hope you enjoy!
Bot Buddy Twin's who live on Earth

TFA
The name Issac Sumdac was one well known throughout the city of Detroit.
It was also a little-known fact of his daughter, Sari Sumdac, who was almost always accompanied by two of his most astounding looking robots.
A tall one and a small one.
Affectionally given the names Sonia and Syrus.
Sonia was the larger bot that was often seen walking the grounds of the Tower, presumably as a guard bot.
It seemed like the bot fit the job having such a large, and sharp framework.
Perfect for intimidating any trespassers.
As intimidating as the bot looked, Soniaâs family knew that she was a shy bot who just so happened to look like she could end someone with her pinkie.
A couple of tourist are looking at the big bot from a distance. Tourist 1: âDo you think it can think?â Tourist: âNo way, its just a machine.â Tourist 1: âBut if it couldâŠâ Tourist 2: âProbably thinking on how to annihilate human kind. I mean have you seen the size of those fists!â Meanwhile with Sonia⊠Sonia: âI think Iâll go visit the red birds nest before lunch time.â
Around her family, Sonia was a bit of a pushover for her younger siblings.
She couldnât help it!
They had a mastery of the puppy dog eyes she had yet to conquer.
But make no mistake, if there is even the notice of a threat to Soniaâs family, she is making sure to get them to safety before dealing with the situation.
Sari loves hanging around Soniaâs shoulder and loves doing random trust falls with her.
The Professor has lost count of the number of times he has had to buff out dents in his eldest daughterâs frame.
Sonia loves her younger sister to death but she needs to stop giving her near death experiences.
Sonia is with the Professor watching Syrus playing with Sari play. Professor Sumdac: âYou know you could always join them, Sonia.â Sonia looks at him. Sonia: âBut what if I hurt them? Iâm too sharp and bigâ Professor Sumdac: âIt would be on accident. We both know you would never actively harm them.â Sonia still looks a bit conflicted but ends up joining the pair in âMega trust fallâ. Professor Sumdac winces a bit as both Syrus and Sari fall from a ledge and Sonia cushions their fall. Professor Sumdac: âMaybe I should have talked to them about taking it easier on their sisterâŠâ
Syrus was the smaller bot.
Often seen giving some tours around the Tower for guests and tourists.
His energetic and charismatic personality fit well for the tours.
He is the closest with Sari.
Donât get him wrong, he loves Sonia, but his baby sister is way more fun to hang out than Sonia the worry wart.
Both love playing around the Towerâs private grounds, letting their imagination run wild.
On the occasion they do decide to make the day an adventure, they both know that if things get too hairy, Sonia was always one call away.
No one in their right mind would DARE mess with them when Sonia was in her protective mode.
Sonia is just minding her business when she gets a call. Sonia: âSyrus? Whatââ Syrus: âCan you come get us? We might have gotten in a bit of troubleâŠâ Sonia is already tracking down Syrus location. Sonia: âWhat happened? Are you and Sari okay?â Syrus: âWell⊠we might be hiding from Fanzoneâs new rookie cop.â Sonia: âAnd why?â Syrus: âTo be fair, he started calling Sari a brat⊠and we might have put a virus on his phone⊠and currently hiding in the park.â Sonia: â⊠Give me 5 minutes.â Syrus: âYes!â Sonia: âBut you two are explaining to Dad why your in this mess.â Syrus: ââŠHey big sisââ Sonia: âDonât even think about it.â
That being said, Syrus is almost, if not more protective of his family than Sonia is.
While Sonia can handle certain things being thrown at them, she has a hard time standing up for herself.
Thatâs where Syrus usually comes in and stands up for her.
Syrus has no problem chewing out anyone who goes after her.
Both robotic siblings are ready to choose violence if someone decides to go after their squishier family members.
The topic of the bots creation has been a hot topic for years, mainly kept up by Syrus constantly pestering Professor Sumdac about it.
Sonia stopped asking a long time ago, but that doesnât mean she doesnât think about it from time to time.
Especially looking at other, less emotional robots.
She is simply content with her life keeping her father and siblings safe.
Now, to the day the Autobots wake upâŠ
Sonia was away on a nearby island trying to help Sari with her project on bird nesting sites.
Syrus is beside Sariâs side the entire time the Autobots are going around.
Absolutely blown away when the bots reveal that he is a Cybertornian like them.
Even gets a vehicle mode from them!
Every single one of the Sumdacâs remember at the last second that they had forgotten to mention the whole incident to Sonia.
The Professor swears he can hear Soniaâs âblood pressure rise in less than a couple seconds when he talks to her over the phone.
Syrus and Sari are in charge of telling the bots about their older sister.
Sari: âYou guys are gonna love Sonia!â Optimus: âSonia?â Syrus: âThatâs our big sister.â Bumblebee: âLike human or bot?â Syrus: âBotâSari! She is going to flip when she finds out sheâs an alien too!â Sari: âI bet sheâs gonna watch all those alien movies with us now!â Ratchet turns Prowl. Ratchet: âI swear if this âSoniaâ is like SyrusâŠâ They both share a look of slight dread. BOOM! The ground starts to tremble a bit. Bulkhead: âWhat is that!?â Bumblebee: âYou think it could be the Decepticons?â Sonia appears at the front door venting heavy with panic in her optics. All the Autobots are ready to attack when Syrus and Sari run to the bot. Bumblebee: âSari! Syrus!â Both jump up as the larger bot kneels and holds them both to her chassis. Sonia: âYour okay! Wait are you?â Sonia looks at both of them from head to toe trying to see any signs of harm. The bots are just stunned. Syrus: âWeâre fine Sonia, but guess what! Weâre aliens! Just like the Autobots!â Sonia finally looks up at the bots and looks just as surprised as Syrus had when he first met them. She shyly goes over and takes her servo out. Sonia: âIts nice to meet you all. I take it you helped keep Syrus and Sari safe?â Optimus blinked a bit before slowly shaking her servo. To his surprise, she was very gently in handling it. Optimus: âYes, and you are Sonia?â Sonia smiles a bit while placing both her sibling on her shoulders. Syrus stops her. Syrus: âWait! Sonia look what we can do!â He proceeds to transform into a car and drives a bit around the Plant. Sonia: âWait we can do that!â

Would you tell POC that vent their frustrations about white people that they're being hateful?
Yes actually. I would. Unless it was a joke. In which case I wouldn't care. But if I were to take a gander, you'd have issues about white people complaining about literally anyone else. That kind of talking is funny to me and always has been because it means that you actually have a white supremacist view of the world. You are just to jaded and stupid to realize that you do.
Which is to say that you should be justified in criticizing an entire race. Or an entire sex. You fully believe that men are the superior sex and that whites are the superior race. You'll say you don't. But you do. It's just that you believe that it IS the case and needs to be overturned. But in saying that you still admit you view non whites and women as lesser. As I fully expect. Because you're a marxist at the end of the day. Though I doubt you are even smart enough to realize that yourself. I could be wrong though. Maybe you are a marxist willingingly.
I'm guessing you're a man who's never experienced misogyny in your life
So this is kind of a dumb statement. If I am a man, and regardless of if, of course I can't experience misogyny. However if I am a man I can experience Misandry. Which is still discrimination based on sex. Which you are ignorant to it seems. To be treated like a rapist purely for existing. To be treated like a predator purely for existing. To be treated like a pedophile purely for existing. To be treated like a murderer purely for existing. To have all access to mental health and domestic violence cut off. Because of people like you no less.
Why do you always act like women aren't oppressed
Because in most of the Western world they aren't. I could post a list of the richest people on earth or just in the US and among the top of that list, from the 80's until now, there would be a huge number of them. Not just rich, but self sustaining. I've never once in my life said, "there are no areas in the world where women are oppressed". I have never said that once. However, in the western world, oppression is not something you see often. Because truth of the matter? You probably have no idea what real oppression looks like.
People often don't recognize misogyny as oppression because of how normalized it is.
Criticism isn't misogyny. And having complaints against a person voiding discussions of their sex as a relevant factor in the complaint ISN'T misogyny. Misogyny contrary to the FEMINIST definition, was originally "Hate or discrimination against a woman based on her sex". Not the bullshit expanded definition where literally anything and everything under the sun qualifies.
And lastly. I stand by my point that Radfems treating women like infants that can't make decisions for themselves is FAR more sexist than most of the actual sexism I've seen in my own life from others.
I don't think I'll continue to argue with you. Seems like there's no point. Marxist never listen and think their worldview is godlaw.

âïžïž THE BOOK WAS BETTER âïžïž
YANG JEONGIN lived in the library. on the days when he wasnât cramming for an exam, he was relaxing with a good book. the library had always been peaceful for himâa sanctuary that students rarely ever touched. that is, until one random morning, he sees you walk inâcaptain of the cheerleading squad, with your tiny skirt and sparkly eyelids, jeongin almost expects you to laugh at him and his pathetic seating arrangementâall alone. but then, checking to see if anyoneâs watching, you pull a book from the shelf, and begin to read it. that's how it startedânow, every day during lunch, you come and read your book, safe in the shadows, creating a home nobody else knew about. what is he going to do when he starts falling for you, through the notes he slips into your book after you leave? And what will happen when the wrong girl comes in and tries to take the book? (coming to your shelves soon...)

Iâm loving all the parts of your Ichigo & Starrk time travel AU! This is a bit random and would take place some time down the road but I had a thought that Starrk probably still has the scars from when Shunsui almost killed him rigjt? So I was wondering if some combination of TBTP!Shunsui recognizing the kind of blades that wouldâve left those scars (his zanpakutou is pretty unique after all) and maybe Katen Kyokotsu sensing her own âmarkâ on Starrk would result in Shunsui guessing a few things if he sees those scars. Or maybe itâs at a point in the timeline where Starrk and Ichigo have already revealed the time travel thing to a few people but not many details and Shunsui ends up putting more pieces together on his own.
Ooh yesss I do love a good scar reveal. For a scene like this, I'd prob go with the second scenario. I imagine Starrk's a pretty private person and also not one to be stripping down in front of just anyone lmao so there has to be a good enough reason. (I actually have a different ready-made one that would fit a time travel reveal scene that I've already hinted at previously but I think I'll write that another time, so we're going to use this one instead.)
This would take place maybe a year or two down the road, and because Shinigami elites are generally not idiots (most of the time), especially the ones Starrk and Ichigo have grown close to, I imagine Shunsui, Ukitake, Shinji, and Kaien (and prob Lisa) have pooled their observations and guessed that Starrk and Ichigo are from the future and have Experienced Some Shit, possibly under Aizen, possibly under some other major big bad that was bad enough to necessitate time travel. And time travel's hardly something just anybody can throw around so most likely there's some divine intervention involved. And once they've come to these conclusions, they decide enough is enough, leaving the fate of Soul Society and possibly the universe on two people who look like they're running themselves ragged trying to save them all is ridiculous. If nothing else, they're friends and family, and it's not right to just leave that burden to them.
I'm also going to throw Kisuke into this group because 1) Kisuke's observant as fuck and Ichigo's actually really bad at staying away from this one mad scientist who created him and weaponized him and pointed him at the enemy but also followed right after him because to Kisuke, Ichigo is everything from moral compass to magnum opus to greatest sin to the person he owes everything to, and he'd more or less handed over his entire soul into Ichigo's possession very early on. So even a hundred years in the past was never going to prevent Kisuke from gravitating to Ichigo who doesn't flinch from him or his reputation and looks at him like he's more than just a Rukon street rat turned assassin turned Shinigami in a captain trenchcoat who has no idea how to be a captain on a good day. (And everybody knows that once Ichigo is attached to you, it's all over, you're never going to be rid of him again, and more than anything, Kisuke has always just wanted someone to want him to stay.)
And 2), there's no better place for secret meetings than the Study Chamber under the Soukyoku Hill, Aizen doesn't know about it, and the Quincy might but with the place buried under enough seals to avoid all detection and probably withstand a siege, even they can't get in to spy. I want to say Kisuke and Yoruichi are a package deal so she should be around, but I also headcanon that they sort of drifted apart for a while after Yoruichi forced Kisuke out of the Second and onto the captaincy doorstep (which made the fact that she threw her whole life and career away when Kisuke was accused of treason that much more meaningful tbh). So for now she's not around, but she does still hang out with Kuukaku, and while it is very helpful that all these people are regular guests at the Shiba compound so nobody is going to get suspicious if this particular group is absent together from time to time because people would just assume they're holed up at the Shibas' for another party or something, Yoruichi is going to notice sooner or later that they're very much not at the compound when they're missing, so she goes looking for whatever fuckery Kisuke has gotten up to this time, and that'll be her way into this time travel adventure, so to speak.
But all of this is actually just to say, healing hot springs for the win, you gotta be naked in a Japanese onsen lmao and guess who's about to have a midnight rendezvous đ let's all thank Urahara Kisuke for reinventing such a convenient trope.
-0-
It's nearing two in the morning, and after the staggering revelations earlier, everyone is asleep.
It wasn't as if they hadn't already expected the time travel, but to have it confirmed, and to know now that the reason for it had been the near-total annihilation of all three realms at the hands of a race nursing a thousand-year-old grudge, one thought to be largely extinct but has actually been hiding in their walls - almost literally - and biding their time until their king's awakening--well, let's just say Shunsui isn't going to be able to walk down a street without wondering how many hidden eyes are watching him from the shadows until the Wandenreich has at least been dug out of the woodwork for all to see.
(It's also perhaps a little more⊠off-putting for him than the others, though perhaps that's his pride speaking. Shadows are supposed to be his domain, and yet he's never sensed anything amiss in all the long years he's lived in the Seireitei.)
There had at least not been too much of a fuss about bringing them into the loop. Shunsui had admittedly thought they would have to at least argue back and forth about it a few more times, if only because no matter how much Ichigo likes to deny it, the family resemblance is uncanny, whether in appearance or personality, and a Shiba is nothing if not stubborn once they've set their mind on something. Ichigo is exactly the type to refuse outside aid in the name of better protecting the people he cares about, has yet to understand that ignorance does not always mean safe, or outgrow that inexplicably instinctual mindset of his where he seems to believe that he must take on all burdens by himself instead of allowing others to help shoulder those burdens with him.
But then they'd confronted the boy, and while Ichigo had scowled up a storm and tried to bluster his way out of it at first - kid really is a terrible liar - he'd also capitulated far sooner than any of them had expected. In the end, he'd crossed his arms and scowled some more before deciding with the finality of someone who wouldn't budge any further, "Fine, but we wait for Starrk-san."
He'd smirked at them then, still displeased considering the topic of conversation, but vaguely triumphant nonetheless as he'd eyed Urahara and Hirako and Kaien in particular. "It's why you cornered me when you know Starrk-san's out on a mission and isn't due back 'til late, right? Cuz you think you might be able to wear me down by nagging me to death, or worse comes to worst, you can figure it out by watching my reactions. But you won't get anything out of Starrk-san if he doesn't want to say, and he's hard to read even when he's actively emoting."
He'd snorted then, mockery softened by a reluctant sort of mirth. "Joke's on you, he's the reasonable one."
Which, to be fair, had been Shunsui's opinion. Starrk really is frustratingly, delightfully difficult to read, and this is coming from Shunsui, who's always found most people easy enough to figure out at a glance. Case in point, most of the things they'd pieced together for themselves had been clues Ichigo had inadvertently given away, not Starrk. And even then, if Starrk doesn't want them to know, no matter how many well-reasoned conjectures they lay at his feet, he probably wouldn't say a word.
But by that same token, it must mean that the hints he'd started dropping over the past few months could only be his way of encouraging them to ask without directly giving the game away, without giving them any hard evidence or firsthand testimony that would condemn himself or Ichigo, just in case the people they've chosen to trust fail their expectations and choose to hand them over to the government instead of trusting them in return.
To Shunsui, that had basically been an open invitation to sit down for a chat, and Ukitake had agreed with him, but they'd been outvoted - sometimes, he thinks with some amusement that the younger members of their little group don't seem to have eyes for anyone except Ichigo - so he'd let it go since he'd thought there wouldn't be any major issues with trying it this way first either. After all, he doubts Starrk would've shown his hand without Ichigo's agreement. It's just that they'd probably have to jump through a few more hoops if they went to Ichigo, what with the kid's knee-jerk reflex for keeping them at a distance no matter the cost to himself. And he'd been correct, more or less. It's just that they'd had fewer hoops to jump through than Shunsui had anticipated, but he's hardly about to complain.
"My plan was to force Aizen to out himself somehow and then take him down in front of everyone," Ichigo had continued, oblivious to the dawning look of horror on his cousin's face at the sheer lack of regard Ichigo clearly had for his own wellbeing, or possibly for the excessive margin of error implied in every sentence. "And then, you know, hopefully do the same for the Quincy, although I guess they'd be harder to draw out, so maybe we would've had to go to them? But anyway, Starrk-san's the one who's been saying practically from the beginning that we need more people."
He'd made a face then, reminiscent of children everywhere who'd been lectured by a parent for doing something potentially reckless and stupid, but there'd been a grumpy sort of acceptance there too that had lent maturity to his features.
"'Wars can't be won alone,'" Ichigo had audibly quoted with a rueful sort of twist to his mouth, as much to himself as to them. "'And this is their home. If they want to fight for it, let them fight. They're strong enough to make a difference. Besides, there's nothing worse than only being able to stand by helplessly while something you love disappears in front of you.'" He'd huffed and scrubbed a hand over his face, and then he'd just looked tired. "Well, he's not wrong."
He'd looked at them all again, gaze firm. "So if you really wanna do this, fine, but we wait for Starrk-san."
They'd waited. It wasn't as if anyone had actually wanted to exclude the man anyway, couldn't even if they did since he and Ichigo were clearly a package deal. And Shunsui's of the opinion that anybody who can consistently convince Ichigo to stop and look around and realize he isn't as alone as he often seems to believe is someone Shunsui definitely wants onside.
Ichigo had told them that Starrk had been expecting a confrontation sooner or later, and there were only so many places for it to happen if they didn't want anyone else finding out, so if Starrk got back and found their shared apartment empty, he would know to check here.
Sure enough, an hour after, a reiatsu signature - usually so carefully tucked away but one that Shunsui had pressed into his own memory from the very first time he'd had the chance to really feel it - had flared politely right outside the door before wisping away to nothing again, and a moment after Urahara had flashed away to let him in, Starrk had ghosted in, still in his Shihakushou with the wooden case containing his Zanpakutou slung over one shoulder and an exhausted air about him, but the silver-blue gaze he'd swept over them had momentarily felt like the fangs of a beast locked around their throats.
He'd looked to Ichigo, who'd grimaced but nodded, some wordless conversation passing between them, and only then had all those predatory edges been folded away again, leaving only the quiet unassuming man people still barely looked twice at despite the fact that he'd graduated with honours just as impressive as Ichigo's had been, and had even been promoted to lieutenant on Unohana's personal recommendation straight out of the Academy. But most Shinigami saw Fourth Division and looked no further, blind to the power concealed behind Starrk's reserved apathy.
(In contrast, restlessness had stirred beneath Shunsui's skin at the sight. He'd wanted to feel that reiatsu again, to taste the corrosive bite of it against the endless abyss of his own, to revel in the reminder that neither of them could overwhelm the other. He'd wanted to see more of the wolf lurking behind Starrk's eyes too, wanted this man to know he had no need to hide any part of it, not from Shunsui, not when he had the same kind of monster residing in his own soul. But that was all still too much, too soon, and so he'd locked it all behind his teeth once more, waiting for the day he wouldn't have to anymore.)
Starrk had sighed and run a gloved hand over his mouth before wandering over to join them. "Alright, let's talk. What do you want to know?"
That had been five hours ago. The conversation had lasted until midnight before they'd all decided to retire for the night and continue in the morning.
(Ichigo had looked positively agonized at the prospect. Starrk hadn't looked much of anything, mainly because he'd been half-asleep - or doing an excellent job at pretending to be - for a good hour and a half by that point.)
They'd opted to stay in the Study Chamber. Urahara had had more than enough futons to go around, thick enough that they wouldn't feel the ground underneath, and there were bathroom facilities and even a kitchenette included in a sectioned off corner. He and Yoruichi had certainly outdone themselves.
Urahara in particular. He'd invited them to use his hot spring too if they wished - a derivative of Kirinji Tenjirou's very own hot springs, less effective and fast-acting than the originals, only able to speed up recovery, but also far less dangerous - perfect for soaking in after a tough spar or a hard day or anything that results in moderately serious injuries. A veritable work of art.
Still, Shunsui had been more preoccupied with the way Starrk's eyes had lingered on the hot spring even as they'd all headed off to eat something and wash up before going to bed. In that split-second moment, the normally inscrutable man had looked adorably like a cat with a patch of sunlight. It shouldn't have been so attractive, but Shunsui had found himself unspeakably charmed all the same.
Ten minutes after everyone else's reiryoku had levelled out with deep slumber, and Shunsui had likewise tamped down on his own and smoothed it out to mimic sleep, he'd heard the faint rustle of Starrk's futon being pulled back, and then the whisper of footsteps padding their way towards the hot spring.
A better man than Shunsui would probably not have followed. But if that had ever been an option, he'd thrown it out the window from the first time he'd almost drowned in the shattered devastation of Starrk's soul and still decided to go after him.
He'd known since they'd met that there was some kind of connection between himself and Starrk.
He'd known for nearly as long that something about himself made Starrk uncomfortable, at best, and hurt him on a soul-deep level at worst.
He'd known with every interaction they'd had after that - every moment Shunsui could spare to track him down without making it seem too obvious that he was doing it on purpose - that Starrk wanted him to stay away just as much as he wanted him to stay, and Shunsui had taken shameless advantage because he himself had also been unable to do anything less, because he'd looked at this man and the desolate void inside him and couldn't bear to leave him alone.
(Because every moment with Starrk had filled something in Shunsui's own heart that he hadn't even known had been missing until Starrk had slotted into his life so neatly, so easily, that it had felt like he was always meant to be there.)
And he'd known for months, ever since time travel had become the most likely explanation for Starrk and Ichigo's origins, that there was no way Starrk hadn't known him in another life, and known him well, because that was the only thing that explained it all with perfect, horrifying sense.
A better man than Shunsui would not have followed, would've given him space. But a better man wouldn't have reduced someone's heart to a grief-stricken ruin either, cut so deep that it had carved that anguish straight into their very soul, so Shunsui figures that since a future version of himself has already sunk about as low as he possibly can, he might as well keep going and see if there's anything at all that he can do to fix what another him - still him, in the end, with a mere hundred years and change between them - has so clearly, carelessly, cruelly broken.
One of the things that had been revealed earlier had been Ichigo's background, because they'd all noticed the flashes of Quincy and Hollow in his reiatsu. Kaien had broken three sake cups and almost Urahara's face, and even by the end, he'd still looked murderous enough that Shunsui had almost pitied Shiba Isshin's foreseeable future. But Ichigo's ancestry had led to Starrk's, whose reiatsu may be as inherently dangerous as Shunsui's but has never read as anything less than perfectly Shinigami. They'd all been curious for a while, because Starrk was the kind of old and powerful that very few people could get to, and none that could and still remain unknown for so long, but there'd also been no Coyote Starrk in the Gotei 13 until this version who'd time-travelled had arrived in the Seireitei.
Starrk hadn't beaten around the bush. He'd pulled open the front of his Shihakushou and bared the web of scars below his collarbones, slightly branched out but thick and concentrated over his sternum in a distinctly circular mass.
"I'm not a Shinigami," He'd said calmly, plainly.
"You kind of are," Ichigo had mused, even as he'd glowered death eyes at them all when Starrk wasn't looking.
Starrk had shaken his head. "There's no name for what I am. I just evolved enough to fix my own soul."
He'd placed a hand over the scarring, and his gaze became distant enough that Shunsui's hands had twitched with the urge to reach out, even while the others had gaped, visibly shocked because it's one thing to have a soul like Ichigo's, one ultimately man-made, cobbled together from hope and desperation and a scientist's gamble; it's another entirely to realize that Shinigami have perhaps been looking at Hollows the wrong way for as long as any of them have existed.
(Because all Hollows are ultimately the product of the Shinigami's failure to save them in time, though most don't view it that way anymore, if they ever have. Because the possibility of a Hollow saving themselves has never even been a thought exercise in anyone's mind.)
Shunsui hadn't cared. No, that wasn't entirely correct. He'd been just as stunned as the others at this revelation that overturned millennia's worth of ironclad beliefs. But he'd been far, far more perturbed by what he could see of a second scar on Starrk's chest that bisected the circular one, faded just enough to indicate that it wasn't a very recent injury, but still deep and ragged and vivid enough to show how lethal it had been, how fatal, and-
And Shunsui had seen enough- dealt enough damage with his Zanpakutou to know the kind of wounds his blades left in their wake. And as if that wasn't enough, Katen had murmured in his mind, terrible and possessive and ruthlessly final, "Yes, his is a life we claimed for ourselves."
Shunsui had been almost relieved when Starrk had blinked back into the present and pulled his Shihakushou back on properly before continuing in a sedate tone, "We concluded that this is the final step for a Hollow, that they're allowed a chance to become whole again. It's just that even the strongest Hollows usually only survive for a few hundred years before something kills them, or they just don't have the power levels to climb that high, especially in the time they have."
He'd smiled then, but there'd been no humour in his expression, only infinite emptiness. "I survived, and I'm strong. So I guess this was my prize."
Nobody had really known what to say about all that, though Urahara had done an admirable job of recovering, and then an even more admirable job of pretending he didn't immediately want to whip out one piece of equipment or another and start scanning Starrk for data. They'd moved the conversation back to more information on the Quincy instead, although there would definitely be more questions in the future. But it'd been a lot to take in, and everybody had needed time to digest.
Now, hours later, Shunsui waits a bit before getting up as well and quietly making his way to the hot spring. He isn't surprised when he finds Starrk already rising from the water and reaching for a towel, evidently prepared to leave.
"Don't go," Shunsui says before he can think better of it, and he doesn't mean it as a demand or order, but he doesn't take it back either when Starrk goes still, water sluicing off of him - all tanned wet skin and strong shoulders and lean muscle for miles and now is really not the time - half turned away, and it's only because of that that even with the steam, Shunsui notices the conspicuous scar left by a stab wound in Starrk's back, just left of the spine.
This time, he doesn't need Katen to say anything at all.
Perhaps he'd dropped his conscience in a ditch on his way here, because he repeats, can't stop himself from repeating, "Don't go. I don't mean to chase you away. It's more than big enough for the both of us, isn't it?"
He pauses, reaches for a hat he'd left behind on his futon, and settles for shrugging out of his clothes instead. "âŠI'll stay on this side."
He slides into the water and forces himself to wait. When Starrk slowly sinks back into the hot spring, Shunsui very carefully doesn't react to that either.
The silence that settles over them is less tense than one might expect. Out of the corner of his eye, he watches as Starrk slumps against the edge of the hot spring, eyelids drooping. He has his hair tied back in a bun to keep it out of the water, and it's rare enough that Shunsui can't help taking a few extra looks.
Then again, that's nothing new. Starrk has always drawn his eye. Ukitake likes laughing at him for it.
"Does it bother you?" Starrk speaks up abruptly, unexpected enough that Shunsui almost startles. "That I'm a Hollow."
Shunsui wants to say that this man is so far from everything he'd ever thought even the most advanced Hollows could be that a part of him simply can't reconcile the disconnect. The rest of himâŠ
"You're the same person now as you were before you told us what you are," He points out. "I don't think anything else matters."
Blue-grey eyes slit open, not quite looking in Shunsui's direction, not quite not, expression utterly indecipherable.
"âŠDid my future self think differently?" Shunsui ventures, but that can't be right. He can't imagine any version of himself who would think that way, especially one who'd lived even longer than he has. Still, his mind flashes back to the scars on Starrk's body, hidden beneath the water now but seared into Shunsui's memory like a brand, and he can't help coming up with increasingly depressing scenarios.
But Starrk blinks, and his focus finally hones in on Shunsui, genuinely surprised, and Shunsui releases a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding.
"No," Starrk says after a beat of studying him with that too-perceptive gaze. "You've apparently always been more open-minded than most." He cocks his head. "But you were staring, so I thoughtâŠ"
I always stare at you, haven't you noticed? Shunsui wants to blurt out, but he swallows it down with only a little effort. Too much, too soon.
After tonight's revelations, after all the speculations he's pieced together bit by bit over the past few months about their past-future relationship, maybe it will always be too soon. But Shunsui's never been in the habit of admitting defeat without even trying, and this time is no different.
"Something is bothering you though," Starrk tacks on, still watching Shunsui through narrowed eyes, and Shunsui wonders if the man realizes how much he looks like he's stalking prey in moments like this.
It should be unsettling, being on the receiving end of such a gaze, and it is, a little, but Shunsui's grown used to it too, grown to appreciate it even, to the feeling of being seen, of being known, and still being wanted.
(Because that's the one thing that's never been in question. Because however much Starrk sometimes reacts like Shunsui's very existence pains him, or how much he sometimes makes Shunsui feel completely bare, every sin and secret laid out for judgement, he's also never looked at Shunsui with anything less than the sort of quiet devotion the tide holds for the moon, or the stars for the sky, or dawn for the horizon, steadfast and eternal. Is it any wonder Shunsui can't stay away?)
"Is it this then?" Starrk asks next, and the water sloshes a little as he straightens up, revealing his scarred chest to tap a finger against the near-horizontal scar cleaved across it, right through where his Hollow hole had presumably still been at the time of the injury. Seeing it in its full gruesome glory now, Shunsui can tell that this wound had to have nearly cut the other man in two.
He feels a little at a loss for words, then sighs and fesses up. "Maa, I suppose I'm just a bit curious." He tries to keep his tone light, but there's really no two ways to say it. "âŠI did that, didn't I?"
Starrk levels an arch look at him. "Well, you didn't." He slouches back into the water, and somehow, he actually looks a bit amused. "I'm long over it, Taichou-san. We'd just met, and we were enemies at the time. You did what you had to do. We both did. It was war. If it makes you feel better, I gave as good as I got."
Shunsui snorts. That does actually make him feel a bit better. At the very least, this is preferable to the progressively dramatic betrayal scenes he'd been thinking of. He doesn't like the idea of his future self almost killing Starrk, but at least it hadn't happened after they'd become friends.
It does mean he has to reshuffle a few things on his mental timeline though, and across the hot spring, Starrk glances at him again and seems to understand.
"I guess we didn't get around to talking much about Aizen," He muses, then reveals, "We mentioned that before the Quincy became a problem, it was Aizen you all fought. Aizen set up his base of operations in Hueco Mundo, sought out Hollows from all over, and created an army of artificial Arrancar out of them to serve him, using that Hougyoku Ichigo was talking about earlier. I was part of that army."
Shunsui blinks at that revelation, and it's on the tip of his tongue to ask what Aizen - in his quest for world domination - could've possibly offered a man who didn't even like fighting to secure his allegiance. Then again, Shunsui's willing to bet at least a little hypnosis had been involved to ease the way. Aizen doesn't seem the type to bank on genuine fealty without including insurance.
The question stalls in his throat though as Starrk lifts a hand out of the water--his left, the one with the vivid burn scar stretched over the back of it. That isn't something often seen either. Starrk almost always has gloves on. He stares at it for a moment before letting it fall back beneath the water.
"The ten most powerful Arrancar in his army were called the Espada," Starrk explains. "I was the Primera. The first."
"The strongest," Shunsui nods. That sounds right, especially if Starrk had been sent to fight Shunsui.
Starrk shrugs noncommittally and says nothing else, leaving Shunsui to mull over the new information for a minute.
"Ichigo-kun warned us earlier," Shunsui eventually says. "About being Hollowfied by Aizen's Hougyoku. That turning into Visored stunted any chance of growth, and that you weren't even halfway through the Blood War before Lisa-chan and the others' power levels had degraded to barely that of a seated officer's."
Hirako had been grim-faced at the news. Lisa had looked ready to march out and rip Aizen's head off right then and there. Honestly, Shunsui had shared the sentiment.
"Then wouldn't it have been the same for Aizen's Arrancar?" Shunsui continues, watching a puzzled frown furrow at Starrk's brow. "They were granted power by the Hougyoku. Shouldn't it have stunted them too?"
Starrk nods, still frowning. "Yeah, it did. Grimmjow was furious when he found out." He blinks, and then realization strikes. "Oh, you mean me."
Shunsui hums a confirmation. Why in the world would he mean anyone else?
Starrk shakes his head. "I was the exception. Aizen found me last, out of most of the Arrancar. Definitely last out of the Espada. But even then, I was already more powerful than all the others, so he gave me the Primera seat." A corner of his mouth quirks with a cynical sort of mirth. "I didn't want more power, and he certainly wasn't about to give me more. I suppose it was fortunate. I don't think even Aizen knew back then that the Hougyoku would cause stagnation."
Powerful enough to have risen to Arrancar on his own, Shunsui muses, and he has to marvel at that, has to admire it. That kind of strength - mental even more than physical in some ways - isn't something just anyone can possess. Evidently. The only natural Arrancar in the known worlds. The only one to repair his own soul. What an extraordinary accomplishment. Except-
"I'm sorry it took so long," Shunsui says softly, because he knows Starrk is around the same age as himself, and if he was still an Arrancar by Aizen's war, then he could only have spent all the centuries before in Hueco Mundo. Even if he'd had companions there, Starrk would've outlived them all. "It must've been lonely."
I'm sorry nobody could help, because no Shinigami would've known to help. Perhaps most wouldn't have been willing to even if they'd known. I'm sorry I couldn't help.
For a long moment, Starrk is still enough to resemble a statue. Then a scoff of something that could've been laughter if it didn't ache so much claws its way out of his throat. He doesn't lift his gaze from where it's fallen blankly on the shifting surface of the hot spring. "No need to be sorry. I'm used to it."
Used to it. Used to being alone. Used to being left behind.
Shunsui doesn't think he's only talking about those long years in Hueco Mundo anymore, not when he's avoiding eye-contact again, not when Shunsui can suddenly feel the bleak despair radiating from his soul again.
"There's nothing worse than only being able to stand by helplessly while something you love disappears in front of you."
Not for the first time, Shunsui feels an acute desire to have a nice long talk with his future self and ask exactly how much of the agony rippling through Starrk's reiatsu can be placed directly at his feet.
(It isn't as if Shunsui can't understand. Even disregarding all other circumstances, the fact that they'd been at war would've meant that there could be no guarantees.
But still.
Still.
Couldn't he have tried a little harder? Didn't he know better than anyone the pain of being the only one left behind, the way it lingers like a slow unending bleed you're forced to carry until the day death finally deigns to take you too?
Shunsui at least has Ukitake, has Yama-jii, has Retsu-senpai and Sasakibe-san too, has Lisa-chan and Hirako and Kaien-kun, even has Nanao-chan to watch over in his brother and sister-in-law's stead. And in the future, maybe he'd lost them all, but it also sounds like he'd still had one to staunch the bleed, still had Starrk, right to the very end.
Then, who did Starrk have after Shunsui had died?
Isn't the answer obvious? Isn't Starrk still bleeding right now?)
A heavy sigh jolts Shunsui out of his thoughts, and his hands sting from where his nails have dug into his palms, fortunately out of sight. On the other side, Starrk clambers to his feet, water sloughing off his frame as he turns to get out of the hot spring.
The steam obscures his face this time, but even if he could see it, Shunsui thinks it would be one of those times again where he wouldn't be able to read him at all.
"Don't think so hard, Taichou-san," Starrk says, voice as calm as a blanket of snow over a cemetery. "It's not your job to save me."
I can't be saved anymore. I donât want to be saved.
Shunsui's out of the water and next to Starrk before either of them can blink.
Too much, too soon, a part of him warns, but this time, he throws caution to the wind, reaches out, and closes a hand around Starrkâs wrist.
Starrk freezes, the pulse under Shunsuiâs fingers jumps, and for a moment, time seems to stop.
They must look ridiculous, dripping wet and naked, and yet Shunsui barely notices, and Starrk has probably noticed everything but.
"It's not my job, that's true," Shunsui says without letting go, staring at what he could see of the other's face. "And I don't know if what I'm doing is meant to save you. But if you think I'll just let you go to your grave after all this is over, Ichigo-kun is apparently not the one we should've been worrying most about after all."
They had made a mistake, Shunsui realizes. He had made a mistake. Because looking at Starrk and Ichigo--at Starrk who was so steady and composed all the time, and then at Ichigo who was so much more transparent in his misery, in his fury, in his determination to achieve his end goals no matter the cost to himself, that it was almost instinct for everyone to focus their concerns on him. Because for all that Ichigo was reluctant to involve them, and reticent on the best of the days, he was at least also loud about it, and therefore was that much easier to help--to know they need to help.
Compared to him, Starrk has always shown himself to be the rock in a storm that even Ichigo clearly clings to. He has never been anything less than an ocean of serenity, but perhaps they should've remembered that no ocean is calm beneath the surface.
âŠNo, it's Shunsui who should've remembered. He has literal unparalleled insight into Starrk's soul, feels the ache of it regularly, even if not all the time, except he'd just⊠not forgotten, that's impossible, but he'd been trying to fix it in his own way, with tea and conversation and countless attempts at coaxing out even just one more smile, except he can never tell when he might be going too far, pushing too fast, wanting too much, always feeling a bit like he's standing helpless in front of a skittish cornered animal too hurt to accept any kind of affection, and so perhaps as a result, Shunsui's ended up failing to show Starrk just how far he's willing to go instead.
Case in point, he's still holding onto Starrk, touching him, skin warm against Shunsui's own. Shunsui would've thought he'd be shaken off by now, possibly tossed into a wall out of reflex if nothing else, but Starrk hasn't even attempted to pull away. His pulse is calming again, but Shunsui can feel the tension in his arm, and he's staring down at their limbs with a lost expression.
Shunsui tightens his grip and runs his thumb along the inside of the other's wrist. He feels more than sees the shiver that runs through Starrk's body, for all that Starrk still hasn't moved. But the lost expression on his face also retreats. It leaves exhaustion-bruised eyes and enough sorrow thrumming through his reiatsu to smother the breath from Shunsui's lungs in its wake, but at the very least, he also finally looks up to meet Shunsui's gaze.
"âŠI don't know what you want from me, Shunsui," Starrk says wearily.
It's the first time he's ever used Shunsui's name. Shunsui only wishes he wouldn't sound so unbearably sad when saying it, but he'd take what he could get.
"That's easy," Shunsui replies, catching that pale mercurial gaze and holding it. "I want the same thing you've asked of Ichigo-kun. I want you to live."
A long silence follows before a rough sound spills from Starrk's throat like shattered glass.
"'Easy'," Starrk echoes, shoulders shaking, with laughter, with tears. But his eyes are dry, and he's the farthest thing from amused, and his soul feels like it might swallow itself whole just to cease its own existence. So this time, Shunsui lets instinct guide his hands and doesn't let himself second-guess it--in one swift motion, he tugs the other man into his arms and wraps him in a hug like he's wanted to ever since Starrk's soul had grasped for his own like he was drowning and Shunsui was the only one who could pull him to shore. Who could convince him to come ashore.
Starrk collapses against him, shuddering like he might fall apart with even just one more word, one more breath, one more touch, but Shunsui only draws him closer, holds him harder, and refuses to let him go.

Moving On: Jisung x Reader pt. I/I
High school was a complicated time for Jisung. He was managing school, keeping up with friends, dealing with his overbearing family, and a slew of extracurriculars, all while making sure to pay attention to you; his girlfriend. Sometimes it all felt like too much, sometimes he felt like he should just quit. Nevertheless, you were always there to support him. You were constantly by his side and thatâs what really mattered. Whether it was bringing him snacks in between classes, helping him study during free periods, waiting for him at the dance studio while he practiced, or just being a shoulder to lean on and a safe space to vent whenever he may have needed it you were there... Jisung couldnât even express how grateful he was for having you around! Even with all his appreciation and love for you however, he still wasnât aware of just how far you were expending yourself to keep him happy and healthy.
People often joked about just how close you two were, how you were like second mother to Jisung and his entire friend group, the way you were always ready and able to give them rides and take care of Jisung and all the people important to him. Jisungâs mother would have probably said the opposite. Though she was never overt about it you know she didnât like you. She would scowl whenever Jisung left you two alone together and the smile she forced on her face whenever he brought you home was just about the fakest thing youâd ever seen. Jisung always tried his best to talk you up to his parents, but where his mother was stubborn and resentful, his father was uninterested and indifferent. He didnât want to believe that the people that had raised him couldnât see in you what he saw, it pained him to think about so he just didnât. He was in complete denial most times about the relationship between your two families and the fact that you came from much lower economic means didnât help your case. When he first pitched the idea of you being his girlfriend to his mom and dad that was the very first thing they pointed out in fact! That didnât stop him however. He would just tell himself that they were overly protective and that you and his mom were actually quite similar. You two would have to get along at some point⊠at least he hoped you wouldâŠ
Jisung almost never failed to point out your motherly instincts: to protect him from bad news, to make sure he excelled in everything he did, to simply keep his head afloat. Unfortunately, no one knew just how that instinct would eventually have to develop. For better or for worse that instinct might have just been the end of the life you were once so used to.
It was late spring when you started noticing a bizarre sense of dread in the air as the reality started to set in for everybody that lives were starting to shift and change, and relationships were experiencing a much different sort of ebb and flow. No wonder you felt a little sick, it was the dread in the air! Right?
Sometimes your period was late⊠but it was never this late... You had no idea what you were supposed to do in a moment like this! A wave of anxiety washed over you and your body as you began to feel queasy. You felt nauseous, and even a fair amount afraid. This might have been the absolute worst time in your life for something like this to happen! You were so close to wrapping up high school. Senior year was supposed to be the last year of you and your peers lives before becoming "real" adults. You were deciding which university to go to and what subjects to major in. You were getting ready to say goodbye to friends and unfortunately hadnât yet had the sit down talk with your boyfriend about if he was comfortable going long distance or even staying together at allâŠ
You loved Jisung, you really did, but you also loved the idea of a bit of freedom. You would never explicitly say that to him for fear of hurting him or just sounding like you wanted to complain, but you were tired. Tired of being so busy, tired of so many people depending on you, tired of always being referred to as Park Jisungâs girlfriend, tired of his family looking down on you and yours. You honestly thought that most people had forgotten your name at this point. You wanted something of your own, something to explore outside of and away from Jisung, however sweet he was. You thought that college might be time for a change! A chance to reinvent yourself apart from your high school boyfriend and the hovering hand of his mother. No matter how lovely and accomplished he was, you two couldnât be together forever right? At least thatâs what you told yourself. You thought of your parents, you thought of Jisungâs parents. You were sure that if the Park family didnât already detest you they surely would now. You dreaded what two little lines on a flimsy piece of plastic might mean for all of that. His parents already thought of you as unsophisticated, a burden to Jisungâs future and this would not help your case. You knew you had to tell Jisung while he was still around but you just didnât know how⊠but first you had to be sure what you were planning on telling him.
You sat on the cold porcelain of the toilet seat all alone but face still flushed with warmth from embarrassment. You got up and washed your hands and gave yourself a once over in the mirror. You barely recognized your own visage. The bags under your eyes had bags, and the dark circles looked more like new permanent attachments than temporary indications of sleepiness. You subconsciously prayed to whatever god was out there that your period was just late again this time. âItâs just two or three weeksâ you told yourself looking back to your reflection in your bathroom mirror and plastering on your best cheery smile. It only lasted a moment but for a fragment of a fragment of a second you were almost smiling genuinely no matter the result.
You went and did a quick lap around your house to release as much pent up stressful energy as possible but also to make sure your parents really were out of the house. You peeked out through the living room curtains one last time just making sure that there were no cars other than your own parked in the driveway. You ran back up the stairs as soon as you heard the faint ringing of the alarm you had set on your phone. You couldnât stop the trembling of your hands as you picked up the little pink and white pregnancy test you had set on the edge of the counter. You sucked in a deep breath, inhaling sharply through your nose as the sheer terror and excitement of what you were looking at created a blockade in your throat. You felt a tingling sensation all over, unable to properly breathe, only sucking in air for another few seconds before finally letting out your first breath in what felt like several minutes.
Although, it wasnât just any regular breath, it was a laugh. Well less of a laugh and more or a low groan that slowly turned into a chortle. You practically keeled over as you fell to the ground on your hands and knees, stomach and back heaving as sloppy tears fell down on the sides of your face and almost splashed back into your eyes with the velocity at which they hit the tiled floor. You didnât know what your reaction would be once you looked at the test but you definitely did not expect this! You were so afraid before, so worried, so adamant that you wanted, needed it to be negative! Now here you were staring at the two thin lines on the near microscopic test screen indicating a positive result and all you could think of was how you hopeâd itâd be a girl.
đŠč
âSo I have good news and I have bad newsâ you whispered to Jisung as you two sat in the back of the school library âdo you want to hear the good news or the bad news firstâ?
âUhm I donât know⊠I guess the bad newsâ he said.
You screamed internally, wondering why he just had to choose the bad option first. Jisung rifled through several books struggling to pick one for a final paper, paying you little mind as he laced his fingers through yours absentmindedly and dragged you down each aisle of bookshelves behind him.
It had been about a day or two since you had taken the test and you had even talked it over with your parents. They were understandably uneasy at first when you said you planned on keeping the child but you assured them that you would absolutely keep working on your studies. You told them you would talk to Jisung yourself and figure out the rest from there, and all your parents could do was support you and whatever decisions you made, the best they possibly could. They could see the stress in your eyes as you mentioned next steps. Though your parents supported your relationship they werenât too fond of Jisungâs family either. The pretentious nature and lack of grace when talking about their sonâs girlfriend, your parentâs daughter, it made them upset to say the least. The thought of having to join your two families was the last thing they wanted to think about right now. You explained to them in detail exactly how you wanted to move forward with your life and what you planned on telling your boyfriend in the process. âJust let him down easyâ your mother said, knowing how difficult of a conversation this would be, especially to have so young âdonât tell his mom⊠tell him.â Your motherâs voice was emotional and awkward and your dad gave you a half hearted smile and stiff hug. Their words rang in your head as you looked up at Jisung.
âAre you sure you want to hear the bad news first?â You asked, hoping that if you told him the good news was that you were pregnant, he would already be on board to end the relationship and you wouldnât have to say what you had to say next and his mom would never have to be proven right about how messy she thought you were.
âNo I want to hear the bad stuff first and just get it over withâ he said reaching over you with ease to grab a book off the highest shelf. âHey do you think this would work?â He clicked his tongue paging through whatever novel he had picked up this time.
You sighed⊠âokay but itâs really important so I need you to really listen!â
Jisung continued checking out books and only really half listening to you. âOf courseâ he said as he carried on skimming all the literature around him.
âJisung Iâm serious! I didnât want to do this here but this is the first time weâve been alone together all week!â
âTotallyâŠâ he responded
âJisung look at me!â
âI am looking at youâŠâ (he wasnât). He kissed your hand tenderly, muttering the words on the page he was looking at to himself.
âJisung!â
âWhat babe?â
His nonchalance angered you. Couldnât he tell how upsetting this was for you? âJisung I want to break up!â You swore you could hear a pin drop on the complete opposite side of the library. You felt like your heart was going to jump out of your chest in the time it took for Jisung to fully absorb what you had said. Those few seconds felt like an eternity, but once they were over you already wanted to go back to before you had said anything.
âYouâre jokingâŠâ he said, actively scoffing in your face.
What ensued was potentially the first and only ever argument between you and your then, now ex boyfriend. All you really remembered was how he kept asking "why". You told him all the little reasons, how you wanted space, how you couldnât do long distance, how your families would never get along, but you omitted the most important reason... Sure those other things were true but you also just couldnât see yourself raising a child with the first guy you had ever slept with, and Jisung had so much going for him, you knew there was no way a dance career could have him stationed in one place long enough to focus on a new family. His mother would never let him have a kid with you, you just knew it! She would think you were trapping him, his father would question you incessantly, and Jisung would eventually have to choose between his prospective future or yours. So you decided to choose for him.
âSo weâre just over thenâ his voice was hoarse and defeated âyou donât want to see me againââŠ
All you could do was nod âthis one should work well, it fits all the criteria for the paperâ. You said, handing Jisung a hefty book of the shelf, helping him for seemingly the last timeâŠ
You couldnât completely avoid Jisung the last few weeks of school. You both had sort of silently agreed to keep as much distance as possible, only speaking to each other when absolutely necessary. When people asked why you two had broken up you both had slightly different answers but they both went along the lines of âgrowing apart.â It really hurt to think about, especially all that was left unsaid but you simply had to trudge forward. The last time you saw Jisung was at graduation where you each exchanged a friendly yet faintly sour handshake and wished each other good luck. You watched the smug smile on his motherâs face as you two parted ways and the way she turned up her nose when your dad foolishly went in for a cordial handshake.
You sort of regretted not telling him about your âsituationâ but you also felt like it was for the best! You thought you might never see him again and once your daughter D/N was born nothing else mattered. You put off school for a bit, moved to a new town and got very used to living alone with just you and your little girl. You put all your best skills to use once you had entered university. All your experience planning, keeping others organized, staying on task, and being a mother really lended itself to your field and your incredible business acumen was undeniable. You worked hard to make sure that you and your daughter could live in the best house, afford the nicest dinners, get the very best babysitters, and whatever else would make the little oneâs life easier.
Obviously you still thought about him. Every time you looked at your childâs face you saw him. Every laugh, every cough and sneeze, every silly statement, every whine just reminded you of him. She never asked about her father but you wondered if she would eventually start. You sort of did want her to meet Jisung but your life had changed so much since, you wondered if after all these years if he would even care. You werenât immune to looking him up every now and then or asking your parents if they had heard any news about him or his family. You suspected he would be angry or hurt if he found out, and he had every right to be. Despite that though, you still just wanted to see him again, even if it was just to yell at you for lying or cuss you out, even for just a brief moment you wanted to see himâŠ
đŠč
âThereâs no way⊠thereâs no wayâŠâ Jisung muttered to himself slowly bringing his shopping cart to a halt and planting his feet firmly in the middle of the aisle. People gave him dirty looks and confused stares. He stood there, oblivious, only focused on a woman about his age, a woman heâd recognize anywhere even from a hundred feet away, a woman who nearly shattered his heart into a million pieces and broke up with him before moving across the country and becoming the most successful person from their high school by a mile. It couldnât be, or rather it shouldnât be!
What were you doing back in your home town? He wondered. The last he had heard you graduated college with about a million academic achievements under your belt, and were making more money than he could ever dream of at some big conglomerate. Though there you were, same put together appearance, same pretty face, same sweet voice, bending over to talk to a little girl who looked just like you. He did a double take, rubbing his eyes underneath his glasses just to make sure he was really seeing what he thought he was seeing. He squinted and blinked and did just about everything he could to clear his vision but nothing changed. All he saw was you.
He felt like he had to say something⊠if he didnât he thought he might go insane. What kind of guy would he be to just ignore your presence. Sure you two hadnât ended things on the best note but that was years ago, and you were just kids at the time! Maybe youâd forgiven him at this point. At one point Jisung wasnât sure if all the resentment he once held for you was gone but seeing you in person just confirmed that it was. There was no reason to be mad anymore. He really missed you. He just wanted to talk to you againâŠ
Was it really you standing there? The child didnât look that old but was she really yours? Had you moved on so quickly after leaving town, after leaving him? Who were you with now? His head was spinning like a freshly oiled revolving door and full to the brim flooded with questions.
Jisung felt like his stomach did a 360 degree flip as he tepidly approached you. âY/Nâ he stated more than asked hoping but already knowing it was you. Though, in case he was wrong he braced himself for a much more awkward encounter.
You almost dropped the can of food you were holding blinking rapidly and registering the person before you. âJisung?â You said, giving him a once over. He was somehow even taller now with jet black hair and dark thick rimmed glasses slightly covering his tired brown eyes. He was as cute as ever. There he stood looking pretty much the same as he did when you left, but boy was he handsome!
âJisung whatâre you doing here?â You asked out of impulse, already knowing the answer. You acted like you hadnât heard he was in town from your mother who ran into his folks a couple weeks ago, who proceeded to unabashedly brag about their son to her. Of course you then immediately went and stalked him on social media.
âI- I came back recently for a family reunionâŠâ his face was a bit strained as he said it and then he trailed off, noticing the little girl who shyly held your hand once more. Up close she looked ever more like you, down to the way she looked him up and down and examined him with curious eyes. She stared without a shred of recognition on her face or in her eyes but still refused to break eye contact with the strange adult towering over her. He also couldnât help but notice the way her cheeks rounded out the same way his did as a child and how her face transitioned into the same confused expression he made, mirroring him perfectly.
âWhat are you doing here?â He said trying his best to look at you and to not stare back at the little girl clinging to your side examining him like a foreign creature trapped behind bars at the zoo.
âIâm visiting my parentsâ you said clearing your throat a bit âwith my daughter.â You raised her little hand trying to make her wave.
âHow old is she?â He asked, mentally doing the math of just how long ago you two broke up.
âSheâs fiveâŠâ you said bashfully. You tried to run every possible scenario in your head about what the best course of action would be in this moment. Was it selfish to just keep the information to yourself, or was it better to just tell him now. Maybe the grocery store wasnât the best place to let Jisung know that youâve sort of been hiding a secret daughter from him for the past five years, but also the longer you hid it from him the worse you felt. You had to tell him, it really felt like now or never. You had kept her from him for so long it just felt cruel at this point. Plus, even though your daughter was young the way she eyed Jisung up and down made you feel paranoid enough that she had already figured it out herself. Maybe Jisung already knew too, maybe he wanted nothing to do with you or more importantly with her, but you still had to tell him. The words had to come out of your own mouth whether you wanted to speak them or not! You had to make up for the immature decision you made at that time. It was like you were in that library all over again...
âHey do you want to meet up- I mean we should probably talk, itâs been a long timeâ. You fumbled over your words not sure exactly what to say.
Jisung perked up âIâm free tomorrow. If you wanna grab coffee!â He was happy you took the initiative to invite him out because god knows he didnât have the courage to do it himself.
âThat sounds... nice!â you said as the little girl tugged on your arm mumbling something about wanting to watch some tv show at grandma and grandpaâs.
âI assume your numberâs still the same.â He said remembering all the times he meant to text you but stopped himself out of fear.
âYeah it is.â You said. You felt the same giddy feeling you got on the first day of high school when a cute boy in your homeroom asked for your number for âstudy purposes.â There was that cute boy once again standing in front of you giving you the same smile he gave you when you first met. A smile you hadnât seen in years, but healed a hurt you didnât know you had inside instantly.
You had to chew on your cheeks to hide your smile as you drove home. You could see your daughter in the rear view mirror drumming her little fingers on the arm rest of her car seat along to the music on the radio. You would peek at her every once in a while and try to gauge her focus. What was she thinking about? Was she afraid of him? Was she curious about him? Did she even care?
You cleared your throat only half getting her attention as she sang along to the words of whatever song was playing, mostly making up her own lyrics and swaying in her seat. âSo what did you think of mommyâs friend?â You asked.
She didnât respond for a bit or even give you any indication that she heard you. She was silent for a few minutes before speaking. âHeâs nice⊠but⊠too tallâŠâ she said.
âYou might be tall like that one dayâ you chuckled âwould you ever want to meet him again?â You wanted to at least have an idea of what to tell Jisung when you saw him next. In your mind, your daughterâs opinion (though still young and uninformed) mattered the most. If she wanted nothing to do with him at this time it didnât matter what Jisungâs response was. All that mattered was her and what her needs were.
âIs he good at playing games?â She added out of the blue.
âWhat?â
âMommyâs friend... Is he good at playing games?â
âUhm, I guess so? From what I remember he was always fun. Iâm sure heâd be good at playing games.â You smiled at her through the rear view mirror a little âWhy D/N? Did you want to play a game with him?â
Your daughter just looked out the window and nodded her head, soon after getting distracted. âWhen are we getting home? I wanna watch my show.â She huffed and grumbled almost like an adult. Almost like Jisung.
âSoon.â You said.
As you pulled into the driveway and walked into your parentâs house, your daughter was practically vibrating with energy. She practically dove out of the car as you unbuckled her seatbelt, running into the home as your mother opened the door and greeted her with a big hug.
âHow was the store?â Your mother asked as she ushered your little one down the hall to go bother your father in the living room.
âIt was alright⊠I ran into JisungâŠâ you walked over to the kitchen and placed a few shopping bags on the counter.
Your mother looked surprised âboth of you?â
You sighed âboth of us.â
âWhat did he say?â
âHe asked to grab coffee, he actually seemed happy to see me!â
âWere you happy to see him?â Your mother asked.
âOf course I was! It was awkward but I have to tell him sooner or later. Whether he wants to be in her life or not I have to tell him.â
â-and you think the best way to do that is over coffee?â
âNo!â You said. âBut I might not have another chance.â
Your mother looked at you with this awkward guilty expression on her face. She started to unpack the groceries biting her lip and looking everywhere but into your eyes.
âWhat? Do you really think itâs that bad of an idea?â⊠there was silence as she opened the fridge and began to rearrange some condiments, suspiciously shaking her head as if to neither completely agree or disagree. âYou think I should keep it from him? Mom it's been long enough, it would just be wrong to not tell him. D/N wants to meet him! Why are you being so weird about this? Arenât you the one who told me I should tell him the next time I see him?â
âWhat if he already knows?â Your mother blurted out.
âSo what if he already knowsâŠâ you furrowed your eyebrows âwait⊠what do you mean?â
âNothingâ your mother said.
You knew that was bullshit. âDid you tell him?â You asked in a frustrated tone. âYou told him didnât youââ
Your mother looked at you and then went back to avoiding your fiery gaze. She was never good at keeping secrets but you thought something of this magnitude would be able to stay hidden. She promised to let you tell him on your own terms, so why had she betrayed you?
It took her a while to fess up but eventually she did, sort of⊠âI didnât tell him directly, it just sort of slipped out⊠Iâ I just had to say something she was so⊠ugh!â Your mother groaned.
âWhat the hell are you talking about?â You asked and took a deep breath. Your mother swallowed harshly and looked down at the floor. âI promise to hear you out, I just want to know what Iâm getting into mom.â
âIt was around last month⊠Your dad has been golfing so much lately, so he got us a membership to the country club with the money you gave him for his birthday. I donât personally use it much but he loves it down there, and I like to use the pool, and the tennis court is nice, and every once in a while I like to just sit in one of the dining rooms with a glass of wine, andâŠâ
You sucked in your cheek as your mom rambled knowing that she couldnât avoid the point forever. âYeah exactly.â You said dryly.
Your mother gulped once more âTo make a long story just a bit shorter⊠The Park family also goes there and I ran into Jisungâs mother, and she was just bragging about him nonstop and she hinted that he was better off without you and I just remembered how much you loved that boy! She was talking about some date he went on and how great this girl was. Greater than my daughter? I doubt it! She thought her son could do no wrong! That he was so perfect and you were so not⊠I just couldnât help but tell her that whether she liked it or not you two would always be connected! I- I looked at her and I said âya know you may want to let your son know that you already have a granddaughter and sheâs not related to that rich heiress you want him with so bad!â Thatâs what I said to her for looking down on us all these years⊠I told her about how my daughter and my daughterâs daughter were just about the most wonderful thing in this world and she had no right to talk about you or even her own son that way.â
âYou really said all that stuff?â
âYesâŠâ Your mother replied hesitantly.
You could feel the tears welling up in your eyes and a swell of emotion inside you. You put a hand over your mouth to stop the audible sobbing that threatened to leave your mouth. You could tell just how long your mother had been holding in those words. She was always so non confrontational but the fact that she said all that warmed your heart. You were angry at first but in this moment you realized that it didnât matter what Mrs. Park or even your ex boyfriend thought of you. You had some choice words for Jisungâs parents as well but you knew it would create more trouble to let them out. All that mattered was that your mother loved you guys enough to be proud of you. You always felt a bit embarrassed when having to explain to others that you werenât the babysitter you were just a teen mom, but your own mother didnât even care. She loved you all the same and made sure that no one would let you feel ashamed of yourself. âI shouldâve known you couldnât keep a secret anyways.â You said choking up a bit. You gave your mother the biggest hug you had probably ever given in your entire life, and she hugged you right back!
âYou arenât angry?â She asked.
âOh Iâm furiousâ you said âbut not at you. I have no idea what I did to make that woman hate me so much but Iâm glad you stood up to her!â
Your mother sighed. âI know you wanted to do it on your own terms but I feel like she mightâve already told him⊠I just donât know for sure.â
âItâs alright.â You said. You and your mother finished unloading the groceries, tearfully laughing at how strange the whole encounter must have been. The thought of your soft-spoken mother raising her voice at a stern and snarky lady filled you with joy. Just imagining the shocked look on Jisungâs momâs face was enough to keep a slight smile on yours for the rest of the day.
Later that night, after putting D/N to bed, you sat on the couch with your parents commiserating about all the awful experiences you had with the Park family over the years. It had been pent up for so long that all of you took the opportunity to air out even the smallest of grievances.
âI donât know how such a sweet kid could be related to such obnoxious peopleâ your father said as a small ping emanated from your phone.
You couldnât stop the butterflies in your stomach as you saw the first text from Jisung in half a decade appear before you.
âWanna grab that coffee around noon tmrw?â It said.
You considered being coy and waiting a few more minutes to reply but your fingers worked faster than your brain. Before you knew it a âsure!â was sent in response.
Then there was one more ping. One more text. It was small. It was innocuous. It could have meant nothing. But to you, it meant everything. It was one small red heart, one little emoticon that hinted to you that he still might feel the sameâŠ
đŠč
The next morning was an early one for you. You spent hours perfecting the exact right image that would make you look good enough to go on what was essentially a date, but not so good that Jisung would immediately clock that you two were on a date. Sure meeting up with an old fling to talk about a secret child over coffee wasnât the most romantic premise, but you couldnât help but want to put your best foot forward when it came to him. It was almost shameful to admit internally how much you felt for him, but it was the honest truth. You still loved him.
The ding of the coffee shop door seemed to ring out like a chorus of hollow bell chimes in your ears as your head began spinning. Jisung was sitting at table to the far end of the cafe. You could see the rays of somber light peeking in through the window, diffused by the dusty oranges, reds, and browns of the fall leaves. Jisung fidgeted in his chair looking down at the table, and then his watch, then his phone, and back to the table. Two brown paper cups stood tall on the table in front of him, steam rising from them and collecting on the lenses of his glasses. He cracked his knuckles and gnawed at his fingernails nervously until finally catching a glimpse of you walking towards him. âY/Nâ he exclaimed, clumsily getting to his feet and lightly tripping over a leg of his chair.
You tried your best to hold back laughter as he bumbled around, rushing to pull out a chair for you. You smiled and thanked him as you sat down. The rich pungent smell of freshly ground coffee beans and sweet steamed milk filled your nostrils and Jisung gently pushed one cup over to you.
âI assumed you still drank the same coffee. If thatâs okay.â He cleared his throat hesitantly.
You could just about burst into tears at this very moment. After all these years he still remembered your coffee order. He was only missing one thing...
âWait just a secondâŠâ he fumbled through his pockets for a moment and pulled out two small packets of sweetener. âI know you like to stir in your own sugarâ he said.
Now it was perfect!
âDid you sleep okay?â He asked.
Jisungâs consideration for others, you in particular was always so evident. Itâs like he couldnât stop himself from making the kind of small talk that involved checking in on people. âI did.â You replied.
The two of you spent some time just sitting and catching up. You talked about school, work, old friends, tv shows, and just about everything you two would have talked about and experienced together had you been in contact for the past five and a half years. You didnât really realize when, but the both of you had slowly transitioned to taking your coffee shop 'date' outside of the coffee shop and made your way to the park across the street. The air was cool and refreshing and Jisung couldnât bring himself to say it out loud but the way you were bundled up with your scarf, gloved hands clutching your coffee like it might run away from you if you let it go was adorable. He also took not of how your coats subtly matched. Yours a light brown, and his a deep tan color made you two look complimentary, almost like a couple⊠almost.
âDid your daughter make it in time to watch her show?â He asked out of the blue.
You chuckled âYou remembered that? She did actually. She even talked about you a bit after⊠before she went to bed she asked if I was meeting up with you soon.â
âNo way!â He said and bumped your shoulder lightly with his coffee cup.
âReally I mean it! Sheâs so interested in what I do. She always asks about my friends.â
âAre we still friends?â
Your eyes went wide, your hands tensed up and a chill ran down your spine. âI mean- We were good friends at one point!â You choked on your words not knowing what to say.
âWe were more than just good friends Y/Nâ he said.
âI knowâŠâ
Jisung bit his lip and you both looked at each other sheepishly, you caught his gaze and he caught yours before you both broke out into a fit of laughter. You two as a pair had a way of bringing out a silliness within yourselves that had you cackling like hyenas together but looking like absolute madmen to any onlookers passing by.
Your walk in the park was peaceful and comforting. So comforting in fact that you had almost forgotten why you wanted to meet up with him in the first place.
đŠč
âSo what was the good news?â He said, taking a sip of his drink.
âWhat?â
âThe good news! Remember before we broke up you said there was good news and bad news⊠the bad news was the break up and the good news wasâŠâ he giggled awkwardly âwell I never got to find outâ.
Why now of all times did he have to bring that up? What could you even say? You couldnât run, you couldnât hunker down somewhere and hide. You had to talk to him. It was now or never.
âYeah about that⊠the good news was mostly good news for meâ. You were internally facepalming at your high school selfâs method of delivery when it came to something so important. âGood news and bad newsâ, how idiotic could you have been.
âThatâs okay, I still want to know-â Jisung gently placed your hand in his, picking it up to wrap your fingers within his warm grasp. He knew it might be wrong but he really didnât want to ask about your relationship status right now. âI was obsessed with everything you did back then, that part of me still really wants to know⊠Like would it have changed anything? I know that sounds stupid but itâs trueâŠâ
You couldnât help but melt a little being in his hold once again. It lulled you in a way that made you forget the gravity of what you were about to abruptly spit out. âThe good news was D/Nâ! You felt a lump form in your throat and you were jolted back a bit as Jisung stood there frozen in the midst of the cobblestone path. You immediately went into panic mode. Why wasnât he saying anything? âIâm sorry I didnât tell you earlier, it just felt like the right thing to do at the time and my parents pretty much told me to do whatever I thought was best! I didnât want to push something so big on you right before graduationâ You rambled on and on watching as Jisung seemed to only take in bits and pieces of what you were saying. Still you werenât sure if he was buying your excuses or if they were going in one ear and out the other. He continued to just stand there stiff as a board tightening his hand around yours as you tried to usher him to a bench to sit down. It took a few minutes, but eventually you two found a quieter more private area of the park to talk it out. Jisung mostly sat and listened to you explain your reasoning for keeping D/N a secret from him for so long but he also acknowledged how this wasnât information he would have wanted to receive any other way than in person and face to face.
He had always wanted to hear something like this from you but he always imagined it was going to be far in the future after you guys got married. Jisungâs thumb lightly caressed your knuckles and you thought your fingers might go numb from the prolonged hand holding. He looked down at your hand and as quiet as a mouse he laughed.
He laughed⊠Right there on the bench as the cool breeze swept his hair out of his eyes, he laughed. He slowly met your worried gaze, tears pooling at the corners of his eyes just as they did in yours. âOf course you went on to have the perfect life and be the perfect mother all without me.â
His words caught you off guard âPerfect? Iâm like a mess ninety percent of the time, I just keep it together in front of my daughter.â You sniffled a bit âI did- I mean I still do want you to be in her life, it would be good for herâŠâ
âJust for herâ he asked playfully, tears still welling in his eyes.
â...and for meâŠâ you looked down at the ground.
âWould your boyfriend be okay with that?â
âBoyfriend?â You felt the embarrassment return to you. âI havenât dated anyone since you and I-â you could barely finish your sentence before Jisungâs lips were crashing into yours. His hot breath made the hairs on the back of your neck stand on edge. His eyelashes gingerly brushed against your cheeks as he caught his breath. Exhaling through his nose he went back for more. Maybe it was because it had been so long, maybe it was because he was older and more experienced, but Jisung had never kissed you like this before. There was quiet desperation in the way your lips melded together as if he was asking you, begging you to be his again.
âMe neitherâ he said breathlessly finally letting you come up for air.
âI thought you had a girlfriend?â
âNo way, I havenât gone on a real date since I started collegeâŠâ
âBut your mother said-â
âMy mother has been trying to set me up with some girl whose parents own a couple buildings downtown for ages now.â Jisung cupped your cheek affectionately. âShe seems nice and all but itâs hard to go out with anyone else when all I do is think about you!â
âI think about you too.â You treasured the way such simple touches and matter of fact words could flip your worlds upside down. âI wish I had told you sooner⊠I really wish I told you so much earlierâŠâ You really couldnât stop the tears from flowing now. You imagined just how crazy you looked crying on a public bench. âOne secondâ you said reaching into your purse and pulling out a few tissues and some baby wipes. You lightly dabbed at the corners of Jisungâs eyes.
He reached over to you and used his thumbs to wipes your face simultaneously. âYouâre such a mom.â He joked.
âI donât understand how you arenât mad at me right now?â you said.
Maybe he should have been, you wouldnât have held it against him if he was. âBeing with you is the only thing Iâve ever wanted. If that makes me crazy then so what. Iâm crazy about you.â
It was hard to hide the shock on your face, you couldnât believe he had just outright confessed his feelings to you before you even had time to process that wonderfully unexpected kiss.
âAnyways, itâs a relief that D/N is mine. If you had a kid with some other guy I donât know what Iâd doâŠâ he planted another small kiss on your forehead.
âI think your parents would have been elatedâŠâ you trailed off.
âWho cares what my parents think! Weâre not in highschool anymore!â
You couldnât help but smile.
âI always knew we were meant to be family, it doesnât matter how long it took. Just never keep a secret like that from me againâ he laughed.
âI promise itâs all honesty from now onâ you replied as Jisung pulled you into a warm embrace. He brought your body closer to his, wrapping his arm around your shoulder as you two took in the autumn scenery.
đŠč
It took a few weeks of coordinating but Jisung had finally come up to visit you in your home in the city. D/N was probably more excited than you. Your last couple days back at your parent's were spent watching Jisung play with your (now his) daughter in your parents living room. He seemed to have lived up to all her expectations and she had gotten over her qualms with his height one she realized how high up she could sit when on his shoulders.
You still hadnât told her he was her father. You and Jisung agreed to wait to tell her until you two were more established. Sure you had dated before but this was now a whole new relationship. Your daughter practically leaped from her spot on the couch once she heard the doorbell ring and her dadâs signature tepid knock on the door.
You opened the door to see your boyfriendâs smiling face as he reached down to pick up D/N as she peppered him with questions. âHey you!â He said nuzzling her nose and leaning over to give you a kiss as your daughter winced in disgust. He lugged in a large rolling suitcase with his one free hand as you ushered him through the front entrance.
âThatâs all you brought?â You asked.
Jisung nodded âyeah for now⊠I was so eager to get over here that I only packed the essentials, I didnât want to overwhelm you with all my stuff at once.â
âPlease Jisung youâre getting ready to move in. Youâre going to overwhelm me anywaysâ you teased.
âIâll get the rest later! Right now I just want to hang out with you guys!â He put your daughter down and ruffled her hair. âSo are you going to give me a tour?â He said leaning down to talk to her at eye level.
She just wordlessly dragged his wrist along to show him all her favorite spots in the house as you trailed along.
Much to the behest of his mother Jisung planned on having many more days like this and little did you know that the ring burning a hole in his coat pocket back in your hometown was the thing he was most excited to bring back in the next suitcase...

âof course, iâll be at your and margotâs weddinâ. i might cry, though. but iâll be there for sure, wouldnât miss such an important day.â thereâs no denying that it would be a very bittersweet moment for him, and his heart would probably give out before the reception, but he would be there. âyou doinâ the same for me? would you be at my wedding if i decided to marry⊠matthew mcconaughey?â he teases, poking the dessert in front of him one last time before swapping his plate for lucy grayâs. âyeah, whatâs wrong with underwear for christmas? itâs a very practical gift.â billy doesnât come from wealth and even if heâs doing very well now, financially wise, heâs still a profound believer that itâs the thought that counts. âmy biggest fan.â sheâs the only person whoâs always believed in him and it never fails to make his heart melt. how could he spend so many years without her? âi know you do, lucy gray.â love the idea of living in a fairytale. his eyes say what his lips refuse to admit â he will do anything to make sure all of her dreams come true. she deserves the world. âand you are a real princess. youâll always be my princess.â and he wants to prove to her that heâs worthy of being her cowboy prince, that the love story sheâs so passionate about involves him, not some other guy. âoh, yeah, of course. i try to stick to the diet plan, but if iâm hungry, i eat. i didnât get cast as a holocaust survivor. i donât intend to look malnourished. iâm mostly doinâ it to stay in shape and feel good and gain some more muscle. you donât have to worry about me, pretty birdie,â he assures, winking at her and lifting the cup to his lips. the combination of green tea and ice cream isnât as terrible as orange juice and toothpaste, but itâs definitely not good and he grimaces, wiping his lips on the crumpled napkin. âohhh, this chocolate cake tastes like heaven,â he mumbles, closing his eyes and stuffing his mouth full.
"alright, so even if margot proposes me you'll be at the weddin'. that's how i know you're a true friend." lucy gray laughs, finding the made up scenario hilarious but also the support she doesn't actually need because she's not bisexual as far as she knows endearing. "you're really the type to get excited over underwear for christmas? well, i guess findin' somethin' won't be hard then." she muses, she thought earlier he was just joking. "oh, i don't have to manifest that. that'll come easily all on it's own." sweetly smiling, adoring his talents. "i love the idea of bein' a real princess, who doesn't want just any prince. she wants to marry the cowboy prince and become a cowgirl princess with him." it reminds her of being little and convincing herself she really was a princess, it makes her extremely nostalgic to reminisce on. "what about later tonight? can you have anymore snacks?" she wonders, just to get an idea of how much he's eating today even if she believes him. "just a few more bites or i'm goin' to go overboard." taking his plate, happily digging in for a few more bites while pushing hers towards him.

ateez soft hours pt. 2
how they would treat you while you're on your period
maknae line
warning: mdni, period sex, smut
word count: 2k
author's note: I uh. yeah.
choi san: "What's up, babe?" He sounds out of breath over the phone, "I'm finishing up at the gym."
"Everything hurts and I want to die." You whine.
"Oh, no, my poor baby! Do I need to bring you any supplies on my way over?" His voice was sweet, always so attentive. You felt lucky every day that he grew up with an older sister.
"No, I'm okay with all that, but thank you. I just want you to come lay on top of me with your entire body weight."
"Anything you want, honey. You know you could come join me at the gym, exercise helps relieve cramps, allegedly." He was mainly joking.
You groaned, "Ugh, Choi San stop talking about exercise right now or I'm going to turn homicidal. You know any other day I would have gone with you."
He laughed at your dramatics, "I know, precious. I just had to tease, I'm sorry. I'll be sweet the rest of the night, promise."
"I mean if you really want me to break a sweat, I have some ideas for cardio we could do later." Heat curls in your aching abdomen at the thought of it. Glad your boyfriend has never been squeamish about period sex.
"Oh?" He asked, you were silent until the implication hit him, "Ohhhh. Well, yes, of course." His voice lowered so he couldn't be heard by anyone around him, "You know I'll take care of you, baby. Make you feel so good. No touching yourself until I get there, okay?"
Your thighs clenched together at his words, "Okay, yes, I'll be good." Your voice was breathy, already laced with lust.
"Mmh, good girl. Already getting all bothered for me, aren't you? I'll see you soon, honey." He didn't give you a chance to reply before the line went dead.
San was so good at picking up on your cues, happy to take the lead or to follow, depending on your mood. You liked him any way you could get him but your favorite was when he gently took the reins, giving you soft but stern instructions and showering you with praise all night, talking you through every orgasm. The thought of it made it hard for you to keep the promise you had just made to him.
You decided to shower instead, waiting for him to come home, feeling a little yucky after being in bed all day.
By the time you emerged in nothing but a towel, San was already there.
"Hi, gorgeous." He enveloped you in a big hug. He had showered at the gym, it seemed, hair still damp, cheeks rosy, comfy in a t-shirt and sweatpants.
"Sannie." You sighed into his chest.
He pulled back and trailed his hands down your arms, "Look at you, all clean just for me?"
You nod, looking down, feeling shy and exposed. Hormones, probably.
He pulled the towel open to look at you, "Oh, honey. I'll never get over how stunning you are." He pulled the towel all the way off, tossing it over the still-open bathroom door, reaching for you again, hands warm as they fell to your slightly boated tummy. He always made you feel so beautiful even when you felt like a hot pile of dog shit. "I brought something." He kissed your forehead then went to his backpack, pulling out a bottle of massage oil, "Thought this might be nice. I know your body is achey. Does a massage sound nice?"
"It sounds incredible." You smile at him, tears in your eyes, feeling especially grateful for him in that moment.
"Come on then, jagi." He leads you to your bedroom, grabbing a new towel on his way, to keep the massage oil - and whatever other potential bodily fluids - off of your bedding.
He has you on your stomach, deft hands turning you to putty at their touch, paying special attention to your lower back, where he knows carries extra tension. You're nearly in a trance when he wipes one hand on the towel, still kneading one ass cheek with his other hand, evidently able to tell what the massage was doing to you, your core becoming wet with arousal. He removed his other hand and you hear a squirting noise. When his hand returns, you realize the noise had been him applying lube to his fingers, which were now teasing your already slick slit, up and down, movements slow. Your legs parted further on instinct.
"Yes, baby, that's it. This is what you wanted, hm? Don't worry, I'm going to make you feel good." Sanâs voice was low and you felt yourself grind back into his fingers at it. "Patience, love." He chuckled, "We have all the time in the world."
His fingers found your clit, applying pressure to either side of it, before finally brushing over the top, just briefly before they slid down your folds once again, his other hand spreading your ass cheek as he held his fingers to your entrance. He didn't have to apply much pressure at all, you were so turned on that your cunt sucked him in greedily. He thrust them in and out a few times before curling them forward, hitting your sweet spot. Your back arched at the sensation and you could tell he was smiling behind you, "Mmh, so responsive, jagiya. I could do this for hours."
And you believe him, too. He sets a pace but slows down when you try to fuck yourself back onto his fingers, "No, no, sweetheart. Let me bring you there. I want you as relaxed as you were when I was massaging you, okay?"
"Yes, sir." You manage, face squished by the mattress, brain floating towards another planet already.
"Good girl." He says, fingers returning to continue their ministrations.
At some point, his thumb finds your tight ring of muscle, taunting him as it sat there within reach right above your now absolutely quivering cunt, circling it and adding just a little pressure. A gasp leaves your mouth at the sensation, surprised at how much you like it. "Mmh, so sensitive. You like this don't you?" You were so wet, every nerve alight at his touch, seconds from falling apart, holding on because you knew he would want to tell you when to let go. "You've been so good for me, angel, why don't you go ahead and come? On my fingers like a good girl."
Your body obeyed immediately, pleasure rolling through you. You thought your orgasm might never end, it was unlike anything you had ever felt before. "There we go baby, just like that. God, you're stunning." You were still clenching when he removed his fingers, just long enough to strip off his boxers and tank top, climbing back up and guiding the tip of his cock to your absolutely drenched core, letting you suck him in, inch by inch. The way he filled you had you immediately working up to your second peak, "Christ, honey, you're so wet. So. Fucking. Tight." He punctuated his words with the snap of his hips as your walls clenched around him again and again.
"Sannie-" You cried out in pleasure.
"I know, kitten, I'm right here with you." He purred. By the time you're worked up to your third release, he's cumming in perfect time with you, cock quivering as he pumped you full. "Oh my god, yes, fuck." He cried out. "You were made to take me, weren't you, baby? So fucking good for me." He praised you as he pulled out, collapsing beside you and dragging your limp body over to lay on his glistening chest.
"Sannie, that was... fuck." You couldn't form proper words, "Thank you."
"No need to thank me, jagi." He kissed your forehead, "The pleasure is all mine."
song mingi: He barely stirs as you roll on top of him, body aching, too early to do anything about it.
"Mmh, baby," Mingiâs morning voice is deep, raspy, one of his big hands pulls your leg up over his hips, the other tugging you closer to his chest.
You fall back asleep for a while. When you wake up, your head is a little more clear, and you realize you've bled through your underwear onto Mingiâs boxers. Heat flushes your cheeks in embarrassment and he stirs as he feels your body tense.
"'S wrong, jagi?" He rubs your back as his eyes blinked open slowly.
"Mingi, I'm so sorry, I-" you move your leg and he realizes what happened.
"C'mere." He pulls you back down into a slow kiss, apparently immune to your morning breath. You can't help but let out a moan as his hand finds your ass cheek, helping your hips grind into his thigh. "Yeah, you like that?" He all but growls into your ear as his hands work your stained underwear off, following with his own swiftly behind.
He rolls you over wordlessly, spooning you from behing, his already hard length in hand as you open your legs for him. He drags the head of his cock from your clit down to your soaked entrance, repeating it a few times until you're whining, grinding your ass back, begging to be taken.
"Oh, really?" He whispers, kissing down your shoulder, "You want me that bad, hm?"
"Please, Mingi, yes." You beg.
He holds his cock to your entrance, "Don't worry baby, I've got you." He pushes forward slowly, tip barely buried inside of you. "Go ahead, then." He instructs. You obey, working yourself down rather easily with the extra lubrication as you stretch over his large dick. You can tell he's watching himself disappear inside of you, his hair tickling your shoulder.
"Ah, fuck, jagi. You take me so well." He moans, beginning to lay long, lazy strokes. You knew when you first saw him dance on stage that his stroke game would be incredible, and you were pleased to find out how right you were when you started dating. It's only improved as he's gotten to know you better.
His hand reaches around to find your clit, fingers bumping into his shaft as he pleasures you, the perfect amount of pressure, circling and stroking. You were cramping so bad when you woke up but now your ab muscles had been given something real to focus on. You lean back, head falling to his broad shoulder as your whole body spasms in release. "Fuck yeah, just like that, baby." Mingi growls, his pace picking up as he works you through it, hips pumping harder and faster until he finally stills, and the feeling of his cock pumping you full of his seed is nearly enough to have you on the edge of coming again. All he has to do is play with your tender nipples and lay a few more strategic strokes and you're clenching around him again, breathless, whole body boneless, insides jellied.
You both caught your breath for a minute before Mingi spoke again. "Baby, I know we had plans for the farmers market today, but I'm sore from dance practice yesterday and I know you don't feel well. What if I make us some breakfast and start a load of laundry and then we can stay in all day and watch movies until I have to go to the studio tonight?"
You crane your neck around to kiss him, off-kilter from the odd angle, "That sounds perfect, baby."
"Mmh, good, I'm glad." He kissed you again, "Let me go grab you some Midol and start the shower, okay?"
"Okay. Thank you for being so sweet to me."
"Of course baby," He smiled as he extracted himself from your back, "I'm happy to. You always take care of me, it's the least I could do."
jung wooyoung: Hands on your waist startle you as you're washing dishes, audio book playing through your headphones concealing the noise of Wooyoung letting himself in.
âAh!â You nearly drop the bowl in your hands, âJesus! You scared the shit out of me!â
You feel yourself relax into his touch as he hooks his chin over your shoulder and moves one headphone off of your ear, âBaby, you're shouting.â
You huff as you place the bowl onto the drying rack, âWhose fault is that?â
He begins tickle you, âNot my fault!â
âYoungie!â You whine as you turn around in his arms, trying to evade his attacks, âStop it!â
âAw, grumpy,â his pout matches the one on your face.
You slap his chest playfully, âHey, I have the right to be grumpy, my period just started.â
His expression turns sympathetic immediately, âOh, jagi.â He kisses your forehead, âHow can I help?â
You considered it for a second, âWell, I bought ingredients to make dinner but I really don't feel like cooking, so I was thinking about ordering in instead.â
âNo way.â He grasped your face in his hands, âI'm gonna get you set up in the living room and then I'll get started cooking, okay?â
âAre you sure? You don't have-â
He cuts you off with a swift kiss, âNo protesting. I'm happy to do it.â
You watch one episode of the show you've seen a thousand times, curled up on the living room couch, but as you see the preview for the next episode, you realize it's one you don't care much for, plus, the smell coming from the kitchen is calling your name. You turn off the TV and walk in right as Wooyoung is bending down to put the food in the oven to bake, making yourself right at home behind him on the island. He shuts the oven door and removes your light pink oven mitts- which look adorable on him - turning to spread your legs open so he can stand between them, arms caging you in as he presses his forehead to yours.
âHi, beautiful.â You've always found his voice endearing, but it's especially so with the slight rasp it gets when he's jonesing for a you fix.
âHi, handsome.â You barely get the words out before he's kissing you. Slow, deep movements from his mouth draw a moan from yours.
You can already feel heat pooling between your legs at his proximity and you pull back to ask, âBaby?â
âYes, darling?â He smiles, eyes dark with desire, reveling in how he knows he drives you crazy.
âHow much time do we have?â
âTwenty minutes,â His hand skims the waistband of your loose sleep shorts, sending shivers down your spine, âPlenty of time.â
You don't get a chance to reply before his fingers find their way inside your underwear, circling your throbbing bud slowly before dipping down to gather the slick that has gathered at your entrance, taking his time as he trails them back up, exploring your folds before resuming his ministrations at your clit.
Your hand finds his waist to hold onto for support, getting carried away with the sensations he's providing.
His thumb takes over for his fingers as they work their way south once again, circling your entrance before plunging them inside, curling them to hit your sweet spot.
âWooyoung-â You gasp, your muscles already tensing at the magic he's working.
His lips tickle your earlobe as he whispers, âShh, jagi, I've got you.â
Your head falls to his shoulder as his fingers set a pace, the sound of how wet you are at his touch only serving to double it.
You whimper as your walls start to clench around them and you can almost picture the smirk he's wearing, âThat's it, pretty, just like that. Come on my fingers.â His words only intensify the sensation of pleasure as you clench around his fingers, panting as you call out his name.
He pulls his hand out when he's sure you've ridden out the waves, holding his slick fingers, streaked in some places with blood, in front of his face, devilish look on his face, eyebrow cocked.
âWooyoung!â You scold him, âDon't you dare-â
But it's too late, he's popped his fingers into his mouth, sucking them clean, eyes rolling back in his head at the taste.
Beep-beep! Beep-beep! Beep-beep!
The timer goes off, interrupting you from further chastising him.
âWhat?â A smile takes over his face, âYou taste good all the time, honey.â
You roll your eyes, but secretly find it cute.
He insists on feeding you bites of your dinner later, wiping the corners of your mouth with a napkin when you're finished.
Later, in the shower, you let him bend you over and hit it from behind, pulling out last second to finish, hot liquid landing on your back, your ass. He helps you wash your body to make up for it.
Once in bed, he kisses you all over, making you giggle and squirm before finally relenting and tugging you to his chest, stroking your hair as your breath evens out and you drift off to sleep.
choi jongho: You almost wonder if the man has logged into your period tracking app on his phone, uncanny in how he can pretty much always predict it. Eyes studying you a few days out as you tear up unexpectedly at a particularly sappy car commercial. You find your cabinets stocked with your favorite snacks the next day.Â
The next morning, you wake up bloated, cramping, and grumpy. As you head into the bathroom, you realize Jongho has re-stocked your pain killers and period supplies. You call him when you get back into bed.Â
He answers on the second ring, âHi, princess, how are you feeling today?âÂ
âI swear you're more accurate than my tracking app, you fortune teller.â You can't help but be amazed at his abilities.Â
He chuckles, âNo, peach, I just pay attention.â
You smile at the cute pet names. He's always trying out new ones on you. You can hear traffic in the background, âYou're the best. What are you up to?âÂ
âI'm about five minutes from your apartment.â He answers.Â
âChoi Jongho!â You giggle, âHow did I get so lucky?âÂ
âI'm the lucky one, jagi. I'll see you soon.âÂ
He's good to his word, chocolate and a teddy bear in his arms, backpack slung over one shoulder when you open the door to let him in.Â
âBaby!â You all but squeal, âYou're too good to me.âÂ
He puts his things down on the coffee table and pulls you into a big bear hug, âAnything for my perfect girl.âÂ
You pull back and he traces your cheek with his thumb before leaning in to kiss you, his lips slow and careful, hands gentle as he pulls you close. Your tongue probes into his mouth and he allows it, a moan coming forward from somewhere deep in his chest. He detached his lips, âDo you want to go to your bedroom, sweetheart?âÂ
âYes, please.â You simper.Â
He scoops you up bridal style and carries you to your bed, placing you gingerly onto the bed, climbing on top of you, kissing you into the mattress.Â
âBaby,â You stop him as he reaches for the hem of your shirt.
âWhat's up?â He falls to the bed beside you, not wanting to crowd you.Â
âI'm probably going to sound crazy and too needy-â
âHush, don't talk about my girlfriend like that. Tell me what you need, ma chĂ©rie.âÂ
You giggle at his attempt at French, âI don't really want to like⊠have sex. Because I feel icky. But I still want to. You know.âÂ
He smiles fondly at you, âWhere's your vibrator, gorgeous?âÂ
You blush, pointing to your bedside table drawer.Â
He is relentless with your favorite toy, talking you through multiple orgasms, leaving your legs jellied, panting and sweating.
âSo good for me, darling. I love watching you come.â He praises you as he switches the vibrator off, placing it on the bed beside him, pulling your boneless body to his chest.Â
âThank you for understanding,â you murmur into his chest, âSorry I didn't feel like doing more.âÂ
âYou never need to apologize for something like that.â He kisses your forehead, âPromise I'm happy to do it anytime. Anything to help my baby feel good.âÂ
The teddy bear he brought is the weighted kind you microwave to help alleviate cramps, which he fixes up for you before curling up with you on the couch, chocolate within reach. He turns on your favorite comfort movie without being asked, humming the score softly. The sound of his voice melts your heart. You feel yourself drift off to sleep before the movie ends, with Jonghoâs strong, warm hands moving absentmindedly across any expanse of skin within his reach, heart feeling fuzzy with affection towards your sweet boyfriend.

Transcript below the cut:
Atlas: Dawn. Dawn: I know. Atlas: You crossed so many lines. Dawn: I know, okay? I know.
Atlas: Why didnât you come to me? We couldâve talked it through before you did anything. Dawn: I⊠I didnât think youâd understand. Atlas: Thatâs fair. Iâm not sure I do. Dawn: Exactly.
Atlas: So, help me understand then. Explain it to me. Dawn: [sighs] Getting married and having a baby⊠it brought up a lot of feelings I wasnât prepared for. Atlas: What kind of feelings?
Dawn: Feelings about mom. I hated that she wasnât there, that she wouldnât want to be, that she doesnât even know she has a granddaughter and probably never will. I was sad and I was angry, and some days I even missed her which really caught me off guard. I started to wish that she was there, that sheâd realize the ways she failed us and show up wanting to make amends.
Atlas: Why didnât you tell me any of this? Dawn: [shrugs] I didnât want to admit it, kept telling myself that I was being silly, that I should stop clinging to this idea of a mother that Iâll never have. Â Atlas: What about Megan? I know sheâs not your mom, but she loves you and she stepped in to help.
Dawn: I know. And Iâm so grateful, I really am, but I couldnât appreciate it at the time. Her being there almost made it more obvious what I was lacking, like it was being shoved in my face. This is going to sound so childish, but I didnât want those things with her, I wanted them with my own mom, and I hated that I couldnât have that. I became resentful, and then I felt guilty for not appreciating her.
Atlas: I had no idea.
Dawn: Thatâs because I didnât want you to. I didnât want anyone to. I thought if I told anyone, theyâd think I was awful, so I kept it to myself, and it ate me up. And when Phoenix got that letter from his dad, it was like everything I wanted was being handed to him, and he wanted to just throw it away. I couldnât let it go, and I let all that shit Iâd been carrying cloud my judgement.
Atlas: Talk about shit timing. I canât imagine how hard that must have been.
Dawn: Yeah. It was not my finest hour. Atlas: So, how are things now?
Dawn: Theyâre good. Phoenix spent a few days in Chestnut Ridge, got to meet his brother and talk things out with his dad. It was a struggle at first, but things are going well. Heâs decided to give his dad a chance. He says itâs for Danny, because he wants to stay in touch with him, but I think itâs more than that.
Atlas: And you? How are you doing with everything? Dawn: Better. Li referred me to a therapist. Iâve only had one session so far, but I think it will be good for me. Atlas: Thatâs great. Li sounds like a good friend. Dawn: She is. Iâm really glad I met her.
Dawn: So, what about you? Youâre married now! Atlas: I know. Who wouldâve thought? Dawn: Oh please. I always knew you two would get there eventually. Canât say Iâm not disappointed I didnât get to be there for it, though. Atlas: I know, but we had to do it our way. And Iâm really happy. Dawn: And Iâm really happy for you. How is he doing, by the way?
Atlas: I donât know. Heâs struggling a bit. Hasnât really been himself since we got home. Dawn: Losing Japer really hit him hard, didnât it? Atlas: Yeah, it did. But I feel like thereâs something more going on. Dawn: Like what?
Atlas: Iâm not sure, but heâll talk to me when heâs ready. He always does. Dawn: Ough, I wish I had your patience.
